Kindly let me know the significance of tris and glycine in transfer buffers .. as I know the glycine is a zwitter ion and at 8.3 ph , it will be negatively charged and( it helps in separating gel in sds to release the sds bound protein , which was previously stacked between cl and glycine at 6.8 ph . ) what significance it has in transfer buffer ..
