I absolutely loved this video. It included everything that I was looking for. I'm trying to start a stand for my nieces and just like you, I was thinking of using a couple of less expensive units before purchasing the higher priced shavers. I am really looking forward to more videos. Also, do you plan on purchasing the concentrates from Snowie or the actual ready made syrups?

Few of our customers of Hawaiian Shave Ice are kids. Most parents are purchasing Snow Cones for their kids. Our adult customers have been requesting a candy base with a Macadamia Nut scoop of hard ice cream followed by shave ice & 3 syrup flavors. They want the large flower cup amply covered with ice & a snow cap. Even small FARMERS MARKET sales are producing sales well exceeding one K.

If you’re at an event or wherever, is it a requirement to have water available, or can you just take your machine, cups, flavor and a cooler of ice and meet board of health regulations?

In your estimation, about how many bags of ice needed to serve 100 shave ice?
I think bags are 7lb and 10lb.
In a trial run, I did 18 8oz in a flower cup with a 10lb bag. So on the safe side, I would say 15 10lb bags of ice if you are using an 8 oz cup. I did them with a small dome which I think is plenty for a serving. I have never been a fan of the huge mountain of shaved ice in a flower cup. I would rather use a larger cup and less of a dome of ice because it easier for kids (and adults) to manage.
I have one but mine stop working in one month not sure if the ice got jammed but don’t work no more..
I need machine to make binsgu like very smooth that melts in mouth is this good for that?

Can you use puck ice with this machine? Many reviewers have said they get softer/snowier product with pucks as opposed to ice cubes

Hey good video I just bought a machine like you have but the ice does not come out fine at all even adjust it the way you did all the way tight and back off a quarter turn it still more like a slushy any suggestions using bag ice and have tried freezer ice
Your ice is too wet. Also discard the 1st few seconds of ice, it'll be completely wet. One more thing, try the Polar Pal shaved ice machine, you'll love it!

i woulnt rent a machine like this well personally i wouldnt rent one at all but this machine i woulnt rest because normally to rent for 2 days would be the price for what you could pay for it
