This is the sort of content other outlets just won't be able to give us. And even if, it wouldn't be this interesting to watch. Thanks guys, great job.
Great behind-the-scenes information and candor from the team owner. Very enlightening about the Ducati Factory and their support, they are obviously fully committed to racing no matter who is riding one of their machines. 👍
Just had to leave a comment to say that this sort of content is really incredible for the average rider/enthusiast. The access you were given provides such an insight into the realities of professional racing. I don't know of another channel offering such a perspective, so I'm giving you buys a huge well done on the content and hopefully you'll keep the good stuff coming. Cheers lads.
Great video. Thank you to Moto-Rapido for the access and interview. Must be one of the most serious vids you`ve done. More content like this would be great. Just don`t forget we want to see you guys honing around as well!!
Amazing content, superb video quality AND Steve Moore is down in the comment section answering questions too?! Round of applause guys! Fantastic job! Keep up the excellent work.
Just found this channel, I'm amazed that there is actually people willing to go and do the interview like this! AWESOME! That's some quality interview!
Not a follower of BSB but found this really interesting. You guys really can make great and watchable content from anything bike related. That's why I come back to this channel every time.
Another fine interview from the lads at 44 teeth. Really enjoying your channel. So much so, yesterday me and my friend went and did the KTM experience day after seeing you and Baron having a go. Ache a bit today but we had a great time and lucked out with the weather. They are a great outfit and really did look after us.
Really interesting my respect for Ducati just increased, didn't know they were so open with teams! Figured they'd be like Ferrari 😒 Good to see honesty from from a race boss 👍
Great video and look into the management side of racing. When he was talking about the team/manufacturer collaboration, it kind of reminded me of the type of collaboration they have in NASCAR. Very cool to see a privateer doing well in BSB.
Top notch video. No-one else has made one like it and even if they did, they wouldn't have been able to make it as good as you guys have done here. Top notch shit fellas.
Wait, 300 000 is the cost a season without the revenue from the sponsors or with it? To be exact, why do people like Steve Moore choose to drop 300 000 of their own money a year on their own team? Is there any return other than.. fun? I mean, God bless them, just trying to figure out how this works
There's prize money for winning, and the companies obviously get TV time especially with a big name like Hopper riding for them. For the most part in BSB though, it's more that people just love the sport and want to put something back into it when they're wealthy enough to which I think is brilliant.
Of course revenue is a big part of it, but I think that racing on most levels in any sport is for many people done for the love of racing and the sport.
Exactly my question. The cost is crazy, but there must be some revenue and I would say a profit actually. Don't tell me they just "wasting" all the money, if you really want to just race, I am sure you can race for less in different category.
To a Multi Millionaire. With a business that is still generating income. That is not a lot of money. Think of what the rich could blow on 1 vacation. He gets the enjoyment all year round.
Great insight into the nitty gritty world of team ownership, and very open Questions asked and very honest Answers given. An education for us punters and plenty of sharp intakes of breath, at some of the figures!!.
I've often fancied with the idea that if I won the lottery I would have my own BSB team and bring on young riders through the system but listening to Steve explain how much everything costs and what is involved makes me see just how much goes into making a team work! Hats off, great interview and insight. Cheers!
I remember when airwaves ducati was in BSB it was in performance bikes and damn it was expensive it they were way more highly tuned then the 1000cc 4 cylinders Japanese bikes there for a lot more maintenance the Japanese engines lasted something like three times as many miles before rebuilds
Bear in mind these all costs include 2 riders, not just one, 3 grands for tyres thats exactly allowed number of sets per 2 riders. (6 rears and 5 fronts) per rider per weekend.
Interesting watch. How long ago was that? They’ve been running the V4R a while now. Good bunch at MR. They rebuilt my 1098R engine a while back. Top job😊👍
And here I am thinking 2,000 dollars for a full exhaust system for my R6 was expensive hahaha! Would absolutely be honored to be in that environment with that high performance machine and the men and women who work together to get first place. Imagine being able to take that bad boy for a spin lol
Even working in that environment you'd still have to imagine taking one for for a spin, pushing one through the paddock is normally the most one can hope for. If you want to get involved in motorcycle racing and you're handy with a spanner, then you can and should explore it as a hobby. There is no money involved, in fact you'd probably be required to cover your travel expenses. If you can find a local team who you can travel with then that saves you loads of money. You can find these folks [teams] at your nearest race circuit on a testing day, which in the UK is nearly always free, but done throughout the world.
Video Idea - Please could you do a vid on how a race team would go about setting up the bike for a new rider to a team or perhaps a Wildcard rider, BSB or SuperStock. Like if you went got to ride for another team how would it go from the first day at the track with the team. Riders styles are so different and the team must go through a process to give them a bike that they feel happy with. Setup is an area that never seems to be covered, probably for competitive reasons and also it must be so stressful, but this would make such an interesting doc even if its not filming an actual race setup but just interviewing mechanics or whatever you think's best. LOVE 44Teeth!
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Can't thank the team owner enough for opening up like that
I agree one of the best 44t videos I have seen recently
This is the sort of content other outlets just won't be able to give us. And even if, it wouldn't be this interesting to watch. Thanks guys, great job.

An amazing insight into the work and running of a BSB team, excellent, could we have some more please.
Great video and look into the management side of racing. When he was talking about the team/manufacturer collaboration, it kind of reminded me of the type of collaboration they have in NASCAR. Very cool to see a privateer doing well in BSB.

Because they love bikes and have a fat wallet, long may it continue!
