    Hi y'all,
I thought I'd die when I saw your I'm Fine chart. I just got a tee shirt with that cat on it. I'm a needlepointer first and thought I'd make a sign of it. I reside in a beautiful retired community in Lynchburg, Va. I have a crazy health issue that causes my blood pressure to drop and then I might drop, but my heart races and I get short of breath. It corrects itself with me putting my head down, sitting down and wait for the symptoms subside. I use a rollaider to go to the delicious meals. Yes, my blood pressure sometimes drops which causes an uproar of concerned residents and help. They are kind and have big hearts. I'm horrified and totally embarrassed. I told my daughter-in-law I'm going to carry a sign say ing "I'm fine, it's fine, EVERYTHING IS FINE.!" Now I"m trying to get the nerve to wear my shirt. Love you both and glad Kathy's knee is getting well. Love Molly's excitement on discovering new things to her. I collect antique samplers and cross stitch reproductions and some Blackbird.

Well Maryann, I think you need to wear your shirt proudly! It’s good to have peeps around you that know you and all you bring with. It’s must be scary for those that see you struggle during an episode. But you are right.. you got this! Maybe a saying for the back of your shirt!!!!

Molly and Kathy, you had me chuckling to myself as I watched this video. Kathy, I appreciate that you made it as you are recovering from your surgery. Molly, I am just like you with my crafting - nothing has to be perfect, just done. My quilting mentor used to tell me that if it isn't visible to someone riding by on a galloping horse, then I shouldn't change it. That works for me. I also follow the advice of move forward, don't go back. Cheers!

So glad you got your knee replaced. Just do what they say at PT. I should know, I’ve had two hip replacements, lower back surgery, and just recovering from neck surgery. Everyone knew me when I walked into PT this last time. Two past injuries did it to me. Did they not offer you the ice machine? It is amazing and much much better that ice packs. I pray that you have a quick recovery and no longer need the pain meds. Molly, your hair looks great! Oh almost forgot, those pain meds are making you very happy today! 😂😂 If you ever get a chance, you need to attend a lecture about line dyeing and antique needlework supplies by Ann and Pat of R & R Reproductions. I love their linen. It’s not too stiff or too limp and they have some super Sampler colors. Watch my latest Flosstube Stitching Scottie to get a glimpse of the retreat I attended that they were featured. I even got to meet Stacy Nash! 😊😊

Ahhh so funny…Kathy you remind me of myself post op knee replacement… yes ma’am it was a pistol…speaking figuratively for You Tube😉… and i used my pain meds for ~ 6-8 wks… necessary for pre physical therapy… strong advice👍. So glad to see you smiling… also… thinking of both after last video… bunny plus butterscotch cordial… looks yum. Found some bunnies after Easter. Stay safe!

Y’all make my day! I laugh & have even caught myself saying “unhuh” to things y’all say, like I’m sitting in the room with you🤣
Kathy, so glad you’re healing well, & I’m sure you’re glad to have that behind you. Molly, your brownie soup reminds me of my Paula Deen’s Banana Pudding incident - it was a request that I make it for a party in the neighborhood a few weeks ago, & not paying attention, I bought & used cook & serve pudding rather than instant, fixed it & wondered why it wasn’t setting, & I had not allowed myself enough time to do another one. Horribly embarrassing & disappointing. I am known as a good cook in the hood, so it’s forgiven, but even serving with a side of fresh berries & extra whipped cream couldn’t cover up that it was literally soup🥴😂
Thanks for another great video & I can’t wait for the next one❤️🪡🧵

Awesome video! It's so funny that you two would talk about wanting to dye fabrics. I've been wanting to do it too, so the other day I found a great flosstube tutorial by "Farm Girl Dry Goods" # about 15 1/2 from 5 years ago. She used Rit Dye and today I got some at Hobby Lobby, only $2.99 a bottle and they had lots of different colors. I used to think I was too young to dye, but I'm gonna give it a go.😊

Glad to see you both. Kathy, I have that hoop in green. At the time I bought it I thought it was a lot of money to pay for a hoop (maybe $15/$20). I’ve had it over 30 years and it still holds tight. When looking for that hoop, if it doesn’t have the gripes on the handle it’s a no-go. Happy healing. My husband told me that and i thought he was crazy (he had 2 done). It does...i am now 1 year after a hip replacement. Dont delay on anything. It just makes things worse. Take care. I am new to you ladies...thank you

Oh Kathy so glad you are mending. Molly share your browny soup recipe, I’m sure some of us would like it. The worst experience I’ve ever had with my knee is trying to bend and unbending it to get OUT of the dang car. You would think that it wouldn’t be that difficult, but I’ve learned to move the seat all the way back before I even try bending my knee enough to get it out, it helps a little, and probably wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t have a tiny car, but I do. They say youth is wasted on the young, well so are good working joints. I have a cane I got about 10 years are, you know where it is, that’s right the way back part of the car. Can I get it, heavens no. Why is it there? Cause that is where I left it after my last therapy session 9 years ago! Yeah, the light bulb is pretty burned out. Take care both of you. ❤

So happy to see Kathy is doing well enough to do a flosstube. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Molly you’re a great friend cake and soupy brownies ( brownies are chocolate so it matter ps not what state they are in). Together the 2 of you are a wonderful team. Thanks for the floss tube.

So glad your surgery is behind you. I knew I had to have mine done when one night I couldn’t do the steps to go up to bed. It was bone on bone. Recovery for me was not typical, I heal too fast and even though I was doing all the exercises my knee was freezing up, just like my shoulder did after surgery. I was mad because my brother in law who had his knee done after mine could do more stuff with no pain. I’m went back to the surgeon and he said I was healing too fast and building up too much scar tissue so it was back to PT with a whole different kind of exercises to gain range of motion. I did and I am so glad. Life is good. I agree it is the most painful surgery I have had.

Kathy, so glad to see you! Sorry you have had so much pain! I’ve had both knees replaced and with the first one I didn’t have much pain at all! The second one was a lot more painful! I asked the doctor about it & he said the nerves in each knee reacts differently thus having more pain or less pain! Just thought I’d pass that along to you! It took me about 2 weeks before I could sleep in my bed, I slept in my recliner with an ice pack on! Things will get better, hang in there!

Molly and Kathi thank you for another fun video. Loved the commode story. My hubby had his knee done twice it’s seriously no joke. I’d love to be your neighbor. I’ve had that issue with brownies they eat the same.

Glad you are on the mend, Kathy! If you are antsy to stitch but not on something intricate, how about something simple on a big count fabric like a 14 aida? You could have the fun of stitching, but it would be easier to see and not as much pressure!

Always enjoyed watching you two. Kathy, it will be better. I had my knee replacement almost two years ago. Keep doing physical therapy. I do have a question on your hoop that you showed. I stitch with hoops and frames and do the stab method so I don't stitch fast . With the size of hoop that you showed and you stitch large projects you stated that you move the hoop often. Are you concerned with the hoop smashing the stitches? I know that when you finish stitching for the day or how long you stitch that day you need to remove the hoop so it doesn't leave marks and to let the fabric relax.

I remove my hoop every time I’m done stitching. Never overnight unless.. it’s a 5 inch hoop I believe. It moves a lot!!

Kathy I use the same hoop. 5 inches and it's so easy to move. I have 3 different sizes, but use the 5 inch one for everything I stitch.. You can get the newer ones from 123 stitch
