I enjoy both of SO much. Molly, you have encouraged me to just stay in Aida. I enjoy working on that fabric, when I try evenweave it is so slow that I found I am not enjoying it. I thank you for that.

Hello, Hanet! Wish you were here too! Thanks for watching and the sweet comment! hugs, Molly D
Such a nice surprise to see you today. Molly, your needle has been flying, such lovely things you made but that "Be Not a Dunce" sampler is outstanding! Kathy, I ordered a copy of the "Christmastime Sampler" from the Attic. I was telling my daughter about your sampler and she said that the Flight into Egypt was her favorite of all the religious pictures she had studied in Art History classes and if I was going to stitch it, she would give it a home. And she did remember playing with MJJ &D from the Play Mobile Nativity and them taking the train to Egypt.
Molly congratulations all your projects are beautiful! Enjoy my time watching you both. Have a great week!
Thank you Barbara! You too...hugs, Molly D
Loved your video! Beautiful stitching!

I adore stitchy sassanach’s bags and I purchase a lot of them❤ I found her maybe 6 or so months ago. Love your finishes Molly and you Dunce sampler is much prettier than the chart showed! Thank you ladies. ❤
I’m sorry I didn’t get and tried to figure out the person who needed prayers for cancer. I’m sure the Lord will know who I’m praying about. I will explain the situation. Thanks for asking us to pray. That’s what friends are for, help, and caring.
Great video guys. I'm stitching a few designs for Black History Month. Wish I could upload what I'm working on. Finishing the first one while watching this video. It's full coverage. Molly still love the energy and Kathy love the way you balance it out. Lol. See you guys soon.
Hey girls! So happy to see you! Okay Kathy, you little enabler you, I got the German sampler from The Wishing Thorn. Molly- honey, you have big plans. I hope you reach your goals. You’ve inspired me to try Fully Finish February. I have MANY finishes but none are fully finished. Pillas…. Here I come. ❤ Love you gals. Happy stitching! P.S. couldn’t get Linen and Scraps to work for the discount.
Lololol....loved your comment Kay! Thanks so much for watching! hugs, Molly D I'll get Kathy to tell us the discount code again on the next video, we are shooting today.
Enjoyed the show #40. For molly: Tony Tony please come down, something’s lost and must be found. Good luck. I lose stuff while I’m working on it. Makes me crazy!!!
Lol...I have often said that prayer to "Tony"... Thanks for watching!
Love love love your videos! Always puts a smile on my face. Would you mind sharing your flower thread choices for the Christmastime ALW 1858 sampler
Molly has the conversion on her blog. I’ll post a pic on my IG acct. Diary of a sampler lover.
@@linenandscraps4821 Thank you. Do you know where I could find her blog?
Molly. Love your oversized floss choices for be not a dunce.would you share your thread choices? Thank you
Great video! Molly, your top and hair look fabulous today. Would you be willing to share your colors for Be Not A Dunce? I love it. Always enjoy seeing you both.
Oh I had to laugh…. You said dry needling, I wondered if that was stitching without alcohol, like “dry January”.
No, and am happy to hear it.
Thank you ladies❤
Hilarious! Might be a great addition! I’m still laughing!!
Great to see you two again! I can't get used to Molly sitting on the right side! lol BTW Molly, when you showed that sampler at the beginning, I thought you said the name of it was "Don't Be a Duck"! Ha! I even had to stop and scroll back to see if I heard it right. Yes, "Don't Be a Dunce"! It looks great and yes; I think you are going "Prim"! Kathy, that donkey is just the best! Sampler looks awesome!
bwahahahaha... I would love a Be Not a Duck Sampler! Thanks so much for watching and the fun comment! hugs,Molly D
Hi there, I really, really love your Be Not a Dunce piece❤❤❤. The Color of your threads make the meaning even more “serious”! If I missed it I’m sorry but I’m writing to ask what your specific colors used were. I really appreciate your amazing channel.
My friends are here!!!! Wait wait dont start without me...I will go get my cup of coffeesnd be right back. Molly you are on fire with your stitching. you go girl! Great minds are thinking alike I had ordered the German Sampler....Not sure if I will do white on white..my eyes might protest...i was thinking a very light green variegated...might take me awihle to find the right thread. I think I will do it on 20 count Aida...Oh the possibilities. I love stitching on the Wishing Thorn patterns. I just finished my personalized pattern from Brigit and have another one waiting in the wings. Time for a road trip....Molly you need to put Kathy in the car...The Attic is calling us. Much Love, Cindy
I couldn't agree more! We need a road trip!!!!!! Would love to visit with you and see the Attic at the same time....I might explode....teeheehee.
Molly, dagumit I have been trying so hard to resist summer of bees! Gotta have it now!
Lol. It's so pretty and an easy stitch. I saw there are a lot of new bee patterns coming out this Spring from the Nashville Needlework Market. I'm doomed...lol.
Holy cow Molly I didn’t know you lived in Louisiana! Me too, we moved to be close to the grandbabies almost 3 years ago, but hub and I spent our whole lives there. We lived in New Orleans but moved across the lake to Mandeville. Where did you live? Small world.
We lived in Lake Charles, on the opposite side of I10 from NOLA. Boy, I miss that food!!!! Thanks for watching! hugs, Molly D
This was such an awesome video! Molly, could you share the linen color & flossescyou used for Be Not a Dunce?
So happy every time you ladies pop up! Beautiful projects!!! Molly, would you share where you get the project sheet shown with Indigo Lane? Jingle Ball is the best for us non-retreaters. Molly, try going back in your uttube watching history to try and find the flosstuber you’re looking for. I’m like you - working my way through Aida - up to 16 and 18, though I have done one large project on 32 ct. evenweave. Love you ladies,
craftingmemorieswithmolly.blogspot.com/p/things-to-share.html That's the link to my blog page with those pages I made up. I do download pics of the patterns to copy and paste into place, but you could put a pic in that spot. Thanks so much for watching!
@@linenandscraps4821 Thanks so much, Molly! A whole ‘nother rabbit hole to go down - your blog! LOVE LOVE LOVE all you and Kathy do! You both are so talented and creative. I’m awaiting Lincoln’s Eagle because of you - can you share what fabric you stitched on. Like you I am a returning stitcher, journeying through Aida to evenweave, haven’t braved linen YET. Thanks again for all the fun and inspiration!
Molly, I think you’re stitching on heatherfield which isn’t made anymore. It was popular in the early 2000’s and the gentleman that developed it passed away.
Thank you so much for the information. I love how it looks so rustic. Thanks for watching, hugs, Molly D
Dry needling is no joke. I had it done in my neck. Not fun. I love your flosstubes.
It really is! Thanks for watching!
I think flower thread is a type of thread. DMC makes flower thread too...or at least they used to
You two are a hoot!! How about sharing the dilly bread recipe?
Kathy's going to bring it for our next video. Thanks so much for asking...I loved that bread!!!!
Loved the video and the bags offer, I read the transcript a couple times and cannot find the discount code. Kathy I am sort of monogous stitcher at times too. I have a couple WIPS bit never more than 5. Just need a couple new bags for them. Thank you for sharing your lovely stitching.

Great video you two make my day each time. So fun.So we need to know what Dilly?.. bread is and recipe? Take care and Enjoy💚
I need to get Kathy to share that recipe...it is delicious! Thanks for watching.
Send Shellie a message ... I think she may have mentioned it earlier than the 19th video, like the week before. GL
Molly, I haven’t heard from you in a while. How is everything going? It sounds like you are really busy with cross stitching. Yours finishes are really pretty. I will be looking forward to your “pilla”.
Hello! Everything is great...thank you so much for watching and commenting, hugs, Molly D
Good video! You need to hook up Sun City stitchers. They are twins that live in El Paso They have a floss tube.
We have stitched with them a few times here in El Paso. They are super sweet and so so so talented!
Molly I’m right there with you!! I’ve just recently started watching flosstubes and thinking about starting to cross stitch again. I was big into cross stitching in the 80’s and 90’s when it was simple with Aida. Now there’s a million fabrics and a foreign language to talk about it!! What was the first fabric you stitched on that was not Aida? It seems like all the patterns I’m interested in call for linen. What was the fabric you used for the Dunce sampler? Is it fairly consistent without a lot of nubs? Can you tell I need advice!!??
Love your Be Not a Dunce. I was going to get it until I saw I needed to download it and being I’m a dunce in that area I didn’t. Maybe I should suck it up and not be a dunce and try to figure that tech out. Congratulations one working on getting your January goals almost reached. Still have over a day to get it done! Congratulations on the evenweave. Lugana is a good place to start so you could be headed in that direction. Kathy sounds like she’s influencing you or rubbing off on you. So Kathy are you going to start stitching on more than one stitch at a time. Just the thought of that gives me palpitations. I tried a year of Blackbird first weekend SAL and I hated it as I didn’t want to put down my normal stitch to work on the Blackbird and then I didn’t want to stop stitching the Blackbird to pick up the normal stitch. It was a rough year.
Thank you, MaryEllen. I am going to have to try Lugana. Think I have a couple of piece in my stash. And yes, Kathy is definitely influencing me. I love her work. But my old eyes just keep saying no to those high count linens....teeheehee. Thanks so much for watching!
Kathy, can you please tell me again who to buy the Danish Flower thread from? I just purchased a vintage Danish cross stitch book and they used the Danish flower thread for all the patterns. THANK YOU for bringing this up in your floss tube! I was so thrilled! Thank you!!
I tried to put in google ESSMPLAYER.....I thought that is what was said during the floss tube, but cannot get anything stitchy related to come up. Thank you for your help.

Molly I am with you on loving to travel to retreats or interesting vacations spots but really do not like the packing and unpacking. Also the actual transportation to and from stresses me out. Love your finishes and all the variety of styles and colors that you both stitch.
Thank you, for watching and the great comment. Glad to know we have like minds...
Happy to see you gals again😊
Is the XO OX on pink piece between you two a paper piece or cross stitch? If paper, it would be so cute stitched. Would love to stitch it.
It's a paper piece I cut out with my Cricut .... super easy. And you are right it would make a darling stitch. Thanks for watching!
Molly - Did you notice that the Summer Bees is missing an "S" from the alphabet? Was this deliberate or an accident? I didn't know, so thought I would alert you just in case you wanted to add the S. It would require a little bit of a change in the top row of the alphabet. It is a beautiful sampler. Wish it was still available. Nancy
Oh Nancy, thanks for the heads up. I did not notice and just starting stitching the alphabet today. I am going to have to take a look at that! Thanks for watching and the great note about the Bees. Hugs, Molly D
Molly, I remember seeing a post on Instagram of Christmas Quaker by Primrose Cottage done in that Noel thread. Could that be what you were looing for? Of course I can't find the picture now but maybe it will look familiar.
I remember it was definitely a Quaker style...bet that's it!!!! Thank you, hugs, Molly D
If you only do one pattern at a time how do you get the extras done?
I’ll sneak in a couple… but usually on the one until done…
