I thought that the fight was mostly one sided in Jose’s favor

Didn’t like how the main commentator kept cutting Carlos off after asking him something

Me too, people dodged cotton in his early 30s. No one wanted to fight him until he got in his 40s.

great to see torres style...he seems slow and calm and easy then when he has you where he wants you ...BOOM...he unleashes with both speed and power ....very economical way of fighting. plenty of good solid bodywork, and always tight guard, tempo changing etc....a boxer can learn a lot from watching this one fight. and careful pick pick picking off punches when infighting...not going to town...just steadily wearing your opponent down with little telling blows.

Jose is too slow. A perfect timer though. Now i see that Tyson is a peekaboo God.

You can see it. Who knew the man who will perfect it was born 2 months earlier.

@@Okidata29I think it’s pretty stupid to say something like this. The reason Tyson fought the way he did was because his physical assets were different from Jose. I mean They have the same exact style of fighting, but Torrez doesn’t have the same amount of explosiveness or power in his hands. His style is absolutely perfect for himself and his own physical assets. He’s slower and more pensive. He thoughtfully explodes into an attack whenever there is an opening. Mike was different he had a speed and power that was well above average. If you see him move even today, he still has managed to hold on to these qualities. Physically he is a phenom, and his style of peak a boo boxing catered to that. There is no perfecting this style, it adapts to whoever is using it.
