Personally I don’t necessarily agree on the daily weighing thing. If you weigh yourself every day you can then calculate an average for the week and compare week to week, assessing your progress accurately and not getting irritated by random weight increases due reasons like water retention, menstrual cycle etc. But of course different approaches work for different people, I can understand that daily weigh-ins might be triggering for some.
I’m 48 and I’m still making mistakes and learning. Your body is always changing and it can get frustrating trying to understand something that’s always changing. This was great advice, I find myself (even at my age) obsessing and you’re right, you need to slow down and take your health journey day by day. Much love ❤new sub.
agreed on a lot of this! personally, weighing myself every day helps me understand how my daily intake of water, nutrition, (occasionally alcohol 😂) and fitness impact me and know what changes what. I am a huge data person though and like to keep track of other factors like sleep, stress etc
You’re correct, because if people weigh themselves once a week, that could actually be more demotivating because you fluctuate daily. So it’s actually better to weigh everyday and average the weight out than do it once a week. I agree with you. ❤️ I studied nutrition and I think it’s better than only weighing once.
I definitely relate to feeling like my healthiest version is the smallest version but am hearing all the other ways you can be healthy. So true! You have some great points
I need this so bad 🙌 thank you so much for noting that people have different lifestyles. People on socials who are extremely lean and strong etc likely have a completely different lifestyle. They maybe don’t work 9-5, they probably have access to more resources, they do this fitness influencing for a living.

I love this video! Thank you for this! So many people think that so and so’s “holy grail” workout or diet is best for everyone, but it’s not. We’re like snowflakes, each individual with our own needs. Also, I freakin love the darker hair! It brings out your eyes and features. Gorgeous!

Weighing myself everyday actually makes me less anxious about getting on the scale- and I like seeing the overall trend.
