I shoot weddings and I have the 24-35f2 art. I pair that up with the 85mm 1.4 art and together its amazing. It's one stop slower than the 1.4 that you have but it's a stellar lens. I got that lens because I could not decide between 35mm and 24mm. That said I retired my 50mm 1.4 it remains in my bag most of the time.
I really appreciate you sharing your experiences with the 24-35 F2. It's one lens that I have on my list to get next! I heard so many great things about that lens. Thank you!
Great lens and have one but feel that using it on a 12mp camers is overkill as the lens can easily out resolve the sensor at all apertures except 1.4 at the edges.
It's been a VERY long time since I've looked at the edges of my images at F/1.4 but even with it on my Z6 and D700, it's extremely difficult to tell unless i'm really peeking at 100% of the image. Which, for some images, I can understand depending on what type of photography you do.
Personally, I would keep the N1.8. Both are very, very good lenses. You would see a tiny, tiny bokeh advantage on the 1.4. BUT the 1.4 is and feels a lot heavier than the 1.8.
I use the Nikon Z8+ Sigma 35 f1.4 Art or Nikon D850+ Sigma 35 F1.4 Art for photography. For both the combo it is like a match made in heaven. The images are cinematic with fabulous colors.
Hi Reza, I have a z8 and was planning to get a pre owned signa 35mm . With the ftzII adapter do experience slow focusing? Or struggle with focusing in low light?
@@sulagnomukherjee4743 Hey… so the 35mm 1.4 Art does have a focus hunting issue in low light irrespective of the body. But on Z8 with FTZii adapter I have not seen it happening a lot. This is still a minor factor when compared to the images you will get and the fun using it. So my suggestion is don’t worry about it… you will love the investment.

Nice channel, keep it up !
Thanks!!
Agree on ALL your points 😊 I like the 35mm focal length because it is closest to the human eye sight angle. ❤
Thanks!!

Opted for the TAMRON 35mm 1.4
I think it's better than the Sigma. But I get your point
Nice! I heard great things about the Tamon 35 1.4 too!
I'm thinking is selling my 35mm 1.8 ED to buy that sigma 35 art, do you think is a good move? i have the D750

@@PeterR0035thanks for the reply, i gonna keep my 1.8 for sure
many 35 art lens has focus problem. But after calibrating, it becomes very very good lens, much better than N1.8

You've got some amazing bodies with this lens :) Wish I had the Z8! Thanks for sharing!
