Wow, Endorfy finally sent you something. I remember we had a talk in comments under your older video about their fans that they were not really eager to send to you, I think it was back when they were called SilentiumPC

This company is really popular in Poland, where it's from. They were always great value, especially here.

The serrations are meant to mimic the tubercles on the fins of a whale, in theory improving the aerodynamic and noise performance

Would you mind alternating shades on the big charts? This is the first video of yours I've watched, so I wanted to look at all of the results you've gotten. All of the lines being the same, bright blue made it very hard to follow. My eyes kept jumping up or down a row.
Solid review, and I'm looking forward to more fan reviews especially brands I'm less familiar with.

That plastic cover might be not as useless as you might think. It might optimise airflow to force it go through the fins.
Similar thing exist in PSU, where there is often a clear plastic baffle just behind the fan to optimise airflow.
As for why not add just a few more fins on top - well, you can do it, but half of the heapipes won't touch them there (because of the heatpipes shape on the end - for example, look at the Thermalright Frost Spirit 140 without top cover). So it actually might be more beneficial to optimise airflow.

Is the fortis 5 dual fan version in the tests or the regular fortis 5 without an additional fan at the back?
This is quite a misleading name, because the dual fan is noisier and not much more efficient than the regular version. 🙂

The 120mm is further back to reduce turbolances, I guess. But without a spacer it would suck a lot of air from the sides instead of from the cooler.
looking forward to the fan reviews as serration on the front shouldn't make much sense, but hey if it works.

It kinda does work, the Fluctus is really quiet for that 1800RPM. Not to say it performs impressively but it's quiet. The video will be out somewhere mid March

Thermalright and Deepcool are doing great job when it comes to air cooler recently
