    I remember I used to buy Walmart brand heavy cream then one day it came out thicker than before and that’s when I noticed they had added ingredients including polysorbate 80 😒

    So helpful!! I was using Clover since I started Carnivore. But this week, when I switched to the red carton (since Clover ran out that day), my body doesn't seem to like it. This is great, thank you for posting!!

    I'm glad I found this video. I've been avoiding dairy for years since I got leaky gut and had been having almond milk in my coffee. Then I heard it was high in oxalates and thought "what now?"
    Maybe I'd be OK with cream if I understand what you're saying.

    Organic uses some sort of oil in their cream. Tastes good but leaves an oily buildup on the roof of your mouth. Not real cream if it does that.

    Thank you for this video! I just realized that my Kroger brand heavy cream has carrageenan in it among other things and I am freaking out. I am so glad you show the ingredients on these brands of cream. I'm doing Keto and need a good pure brand of cream.

      The quality of local heavy cream will be better, I make my own cultured butter and the quality of the heavy cream really shows when you do this. Local small batch stuff beats any major brand any day. Grass fed is the way to go as well, typically people who are not used to it prefer grain fed to grass fed but that’s just because they are not used to it I’ve converted most of my friends and family to grass fed vs grain the same Goes for cultured vs non cultured butter. I haven’t converted folk enough yet to have them help me create a way to smoke the cultured butter I make but all good things come to those who wait.

    Back in 2018 when you made this, these creams were available. Now it is nearly impossible to find any heavy cream that is pasteurized ONLY-not ultra-pasteurized. And without thickener.

    I noticed that Horizon and Organic Valley both have gellan gum. Have you found any others without it except for Trader Joes? Thanks!

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Clover doesn't have anything else! and sometimes a version of Organic Valley only has grade A cream as well!

    So is this a better alternative to any coffee creamer? I love coffee and I want to drink it the healthiest way possible without sacrificing good taste.

      if you tolerate dairy, yes. I think heavy cream is a great substitute, full of nutrients and fat-based energy. if for some reason you do not feel well on cream/dairy, you can always try some goat milk, or canned coconut milk.

    Thank you for this. No Trader Joe's or Whole Foods near me. So hard to find the unadulterated (added gums) heavy cream. Even powdered heavy cream is also skim milk. Do you know of a powdered heavy cream only? Also, can heavy cream be frozen?

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  ปีที่แล้ว

    Thinking of starting using this to gain weight, would it be possible to drink three or four or these cartons a day or is that ridiculous?

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      no I don't think that would be healthy. to "gain weight" heathfully, I would recommend eating 100% real food including animal meats and traditional fats, and training with resistance training!
      let me know if you'd like help with nutrition.

    Pure cream is a perfect food. It cannot be replaced with anything. Thanks for the info. I’ll be checking for pasteurized and no additives from now on.

    • @RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus
      @RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus ปีที่แล้ว

      Just be careful with non-pasteurized I love it but it’s illegal to sell commercially state side and can have some nasty things grow in it. Fun fact: the only reason pasteurization got so big in the states was thanks to Al Capone someone he knew got messed up by bad raw milk so he went out and made regulations and quality control standards get increased like only a hyper rich gangster could. Also don’t like women with child consume raw milk.
