It's the fourth F that is finally starting to be recognized as a fear response:
Fight: Sometimes verbally, sometimes physically, sometimes legally, sometimes spiritually, etc. Like a dog or bear when you invade its territory.
Flight: Running away, denying what's happening, etc. Like a bird or rabbit when you get close.
Freeze: Don't move. Don't do anything. Like a deer in the headlights, or when you get near an opossum.
Fawn: Give gifts. Say nice things. Use your influence to get someone a promotion. Vote for them. Give them discounts. Don't charge them (financially or legally). Give them what you think they want so they don't hurt you, or don't hurt you as badly, or as often. Humans and dolphins.

Because as a woman who has lived with the daily stress most women go thru, we CAN understand. We DO think about it BRIEFLY, but we would NEVER act or plan it. That’s the difference. Understanding is so different than excusing… I can empathize with Jessica feeling psychotic while still condemning her for being so weak and giving into those dark and painful impulses. You can be friends with your shadow without giving in and a lot of these murderers aren’t friends with their shadows. Their darkness takes over because they never give that shadow time to breathe, and then that becomes them… scary to think we’re all capable of this but most of us let it out in small ways so we would never let this become us. I think that’s why most of us like to see them as “evil” when the reality is we are all capable.
RIP those poor poor babies Lacey, Phillip and Christopher. Hope Jessica gets the death penalty and stops wasting our taxes.

I had a nice home and job, a nice custom car I built, but then I finally became very conscious of something going on I had walked out of my house and had walked about 5 miles. I was like how in the hell did I get here? I started back home but struggled to get there. My mind was all messed up. What was it? The next day I had collapsed at a Dunkin Donuts and spent 4 days in the hospital until they did a TTT (Tilt Table Test) and found the problem. Chemical imbalance and lack of potassium and sodium. I often wondered what I did during that 5 miles as I had no memory of it at all.

I honestly believe she’s dissociated the actual killing part because it’s incredibly emotional, especially if she has BPD.
I have BPD and dissociate on a daily basis. A lot of times I will remember in detail what happens leading up to a extremely emotional moment but the actual moment itself is wiped.
BPD comes with extreme emotions and is very different from ASPD where you lack empathy. Killing your kids is highly emotional for someone with BPD, whether she did it out of anger, sadness, jealously etc.

The system is built and designed to make sure the kids stay with the women. Whether they are crazy or not. Doesn't matter. If you have male genitalia then you are up the creek when it comes to your kids if you ever want to separate. Unless you can prove 100% without a doubt in multiple ways that she is unfit. It takes a lot for a man to win the children unfortunately. I have known crackheads that don't work that get to keep the kids over the working father who is drug-free. That is the system that is America right now

And on top of that, if we take away the tone policing, she only cries when she notices someone watching, she has no clear signs of empathy whatsoever or remorse, not verbally or through body language. she legitimately doesn’t care, she explicitly states she knew why she did it and back tracks when coming to remembering? it doesn’t add up at all. she is just really good at manipulating people.

Reminds me of an Ex I had. Her voice, her demeanor, everything. Things didn’t work out and I had to cut her out of my life and she wouldn’t accept it. Threatened to kill herself and everything if I didn’t stay with her. Would call me months on end leaving voicemails from work, her kids phones, everything. It’s crazy how much she reminds me of her. Thank god I got away when I did because she was recently 302d and lost custody of her children. Anxious attachment to someone can be dangerous and this is what can come from that.

I'll go ahead and say it Jessica, considering you think no one else will, you're a bad mother.
Edit: I just heard what she said about her ex husband and how he should feel guilty for not seeing the kids. "To this day, they still do not know why she did it." Apparently, what all those doctors really need is a license in COMMON SENSE! She said why in her journal. Her ex-husband didn't spend enough time with his children, her boyfriend cared more about his child, the baby boy. She felt like everybody could come and go and do whatever they wanted while she was the one who did 90% of the responsibility. It was the ultimate act of revenge. • @xxnightxx3669
      @xxnightxx3669 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +34

This is exactly what type of killing it is. She was angry he was not going to babysit the children and she’d have a night out with her friends, drinking. In her mind, she thought, “ oh yeah, you son of a bitch, you don’t want to come and watch your kids, you just wait and see, because you’re not gonna have any kids to watch ever again!”
It is likely he was an SOB, and he probably did her a favor when he decided not to continue the relationship. A lot of men impregnate women, make babies and leave them to their mother to primarily take care of them. In the meantime, he is able to go out and about, and conduct his life as if he is single. Unfortunately, too many women handover their identity and require their boyfriend’s or husband’s validation even to exist. The issue I take with her is, women are more knowledgeable today than ever about single motherhood and turbulent relationships. The rising number of how many women are left to raise children on their own, and what the success and divorce rates are of couples today is common knowledge. This is why when you already have two children and you are starting a new relationship, it does not require you to get pregnant anytime soon, because you haven’t had even enough time to see if you two will last, never mind add an innocent newborn infant into the equation. There are higher rates of violent crimes among every day people than there is among people with mental health issues. To believe one must be crazy to commit a heinous crime, involving multiple victims is not indicative of a mental health defect. To wrap it up, lol. I belong to the school of thought which believes she was completely sane during the violent attack on her children. The women who turn on their children to get back at a spouse is more common than we think. Revenge is as old as time. She is an absolute liar, claiming she doesn’t remember the individual attacks on her children, but able to remember the facts that bolster her innocence, and she is completely void when it comes to her actions which will put her away in prison for the rest of her life. She is your typical, garden-variety, and poor excuse of a mother, who believes she is entitled to a better life, and the life she was leading was full of responsibility, she believes, he was supposed to have more responsibility for. She is far from the first woman to find out how difficult, stressful and a lot of times, lonely life is when you are the primary parent responsible for the lives of the children, you brought into this world. Like most of us know, it takes little to nothing to become a mother, but it takes a patient, loving, unselfish and responsible woman to be your Mom. RIP precious 👼👼👼…

Unpopular opinion but, I feel for the mother too. Obviously, my heart is shattered about the children. But this woman was diagnosed with mental illness, she had a lot on her plate & PPD is no fucking joke. She needed help, signs were missed. You hear her ex husband say she told him she was having bad thoughts about hurting the kids, then the dog dies? No one took it seriously. She knows she fucked up, she just doesn't know why. You don't hear her trying to say she didn't do it. Not like in other interrogations of murderers. At the end of the day, she is human. Bi-polar, new baby, PPD, not a super supportive partner (who might be cheating?) It adds up. None of these are excuses for what she did, there's more to this story than any of us will ever see, though. PPD along with a complicated post delivery, it does damage. PPD is very real & more women need help. I just wish healing for all involved. May those babies rest in peace. Check in on your new mom friends, they're under more pressure than you know.

This was definitely not ppp. Ppp killings don't happen for revenge, women who kill their kids bc of ppp generally don't realize they're doing it and it's always based on delusions. Like they believe something like their baby is actually a demon imposter and killing "it" is the only way to save their baby. They often snap out of it later, usually in a hospital bc they hurt themselves too, and start asking where their child/ren are not realizing she killed them. It's truly a horrific thing. These women genuinely love their babies and would normally never even think about hurting them and often have delusions that lead them to believe that they're actually helping their child/ren, not killing or hurting them. A revenge killing isn't done bc of delusions, unless the reason for needing revenge is a delusion itself. Ppp is too often used as an excuse where it's not actually the case.

It pisses me off how many women try to use ppp as a defense where it clearly wasn't the case, bc it makes real cases of ppp seem like any old type of murder and makes it harder for those women to fight their cases properly

EDIT: I can tell you exactly why she did this. She wanted to hurt Chris and Phillip-the men who “abandoned” her-in the worst possible way. She laid the entire crime at Chris’ feet *in writing*. My mom used us to hurt our dad all the time. We were just lucky enough to make it out alive.

I can say with a fair certainty that Jessica purposefully murdered those kids and intended to end her life and make Christopher pay and feel remorse by witnessing her dying, or at least attempting to die while he was there. She wanted to hurt him completely and even told him he destroyed their family. The letter tells it all and doesn't indicate that she had an "episode.' She knew what she was doing and it was completely premeditated. Granted, she may have had Borderline Personality Disorder, but the decision to kill her kids was something I guarantee she remembers, no matter how much she wants to fool everyone into thinking she's blocking it out. Her letter is snarky by saying "I hope you'll be happy in your new relationship with Brandy' and wanted to make sure he knew it was his relationship with Brandy that sealed their coffins. There's no doubt in my mind she wanted Chris to pay. The only thing that backfired for her was that she was hoping she'd have the courage to take her own life as well, but ultimately, she failed. The police used nonlethal weaponry to subdue her. She only cut herself just enough to drip blood all over the house and to elicit some sort of horror from Chris when he saw it was all over the floor (most likely her own blood judging by the traveling drips) Lacey had no stab wounds, and the means of killing the kids was primarily ligature and strangulation. Jessica probably walked all over the house deliberately dripping everywhere just to make the house look horrifying. Her mother had already offered to take the kids for the night, so she can't even use the excuse that the kids would still be alive if he'd wanted to watch all 3. At that point, she already had it in her head that she was going to kill her kids and take them with her, then end her own life, but not before her husband came home, looked her in the eyes and realized he actually had destroyed the entire family (as she described in her letter). This was a murder suicide gone wrong. But since she wasn't able to kill herself, she realized she was now stuck with the prospect of having to live without her kids anyway, and she was STILL going to lose Chris. At that point, she just melted into a pity party of denial and decided she'd play the "I can't remember any of it' card.

They merely just hold a persona that they think everyones wants to see but the control over their life was lost long ago. Acting for so long makes these psychos snap. They just get tired of it cuz its like a jail they know they keep themselves in but dont know how to get out and when they do break out it looks like this. I don't know if this woman was suffering from a serious mental illness or was just evil, but there was a great amount of responsibility from the men in her life. One had a new family and neglected his own children even though he knew their mother had been an addict and had spoken about killing them, and the other who was raising her two oldest kids with her told her he wasn't willing to babysit "her" kids, as if he had no feelings for them, as if they were a burden. He also knew she probably killed the dog and was mentally unstable. Where is the love for the kids and the will to protect them?? What are these men's priorities?

Like this "mother", she wrote down how it's perfectly fine for her to leave the world but not without dragging her kids with them and it wouldn't be a big deal to the father.

I think if she would have received treatment for her mental illness this could have been prevented. Unfortunately people are unstandably not educated on this and ignore all the warning signs. I just came here to comment this: people suffering from BPD sometimes do experience episodes of mania. They are markedly different than bipolar episodes, which I have also had. I can actually tell the difference between the 2 after a handful of both (at different times). Bipolar episodes usually include feelings of grandiosity, reduced need for sleep etc etc. In a BPD episode, those feelings of grandiosity usually aren't present, although many of the of other symptoms overlap. I personally went from non drinker to alcoholic status for about 2 weeks to try to mask my bpd episode, it felt that awful. I never did this with a bipolar episode, because I feel on top of a mountain then. But I am not just speaking from personal experience. My Healthcare team which at times has been extensive, have confirmed or were the ones to break the difference down. Didn't come here to argue with pros, but I guess I sort of am. Because the disorder is often brought up in these videos, and the misrepresentation is uncomfortable.
