We have lived in my moms single wide since 99', and it just feels so small. As much as I want to get us in a real house, that's big enough, like 4-5 bedroom, pricing is astronomical right now, like 250k-350k. So I am looking back at Clayton, as long as it good double wide and I have my list of what I am looking for in the home for the next 20 years, then I just hope we will be approved in a couple years once i have a few medical bills paid off. Once those are cleared, I plan to save up a good down payment. 🙏🏻 Thank you for showing these. I may go check out the ones in Eden, NC.
That sounds like a plan, just keep in mind that the land is what will and can drive the cost higher on DW too. I got a good deal on my land, that helped nout a ton. Good luck in your home buying adventures.

Delivery, lot prep and setup should be included in the price of the home. The Clayton dealership where I am in NW Florida has it included. So the price you see is everything but the land.

Here in Southern California a New Condos and Townhouses average between $500K to $900K !
IKR 😳, but the stick the traditional stick built homes are around at least 500k. This is def going to be the best route for me to go, thats for sure 😊. You do have to add your land and setup to that price too.

3/8/24. We bought a 1500 Double wide today. We be happy. I believe they are good. And I enjoy doing minor repairs.
me and my parents r hoping to buy a home soon especially since our rent went from $620 to $740 on a 2 br single-wide. we live in Gaston County NC. 2 years ago we tried Oakwood in Shelby but was turned down ue owing to much on a minivan but now its paid off so hopefully we can get a home from Oakwood or Clayton. don't know if the require down payment and if they do how much. they require. which one did yall choose?
Hopefully everything will work out so you can get your home, the rates are dropping too, so that will help you also. The down payment is usually 3.5 percent. I went with the cheapest model, i will be doing improvements in time. The process takes roughly 6 months for it all to be completed, i'm still waiting for the home to be built and setup.
