Thank soooooooo much the shop was trying to charge me 2800$ and the fuse pump relay bypass was roughly 15.00$ and I did exactly what was done in this video and now my truck is back running productively. I very much appreciate you and posting this video
Just tried this before dropping the tank and pulling the pump. Cranked right up. Bro THANK YOU. just saved us 300$ and a days worth of work .. liked and subscribed 🙏🤘
this does work, but if you use a fuse terminal connected to acc on ignition switch pump will run while listening to radio. Find a 20a fuse that is only active in run position. my 2011 ram has a 20a fuse for glow plugs (not a diesel), heated seats, and rear wiper which is not used. this was the perfect choice. good luck.
The relay is integrated into the fuse block (Called TiPM). There is a circuit board inside of fuse block that the relay is soldered into. It’s not part of the fuel pump. Power is going from the relay to the fuse then to the fuel pump. But the relay is not allowing the current flow. You can replace the relay but it has to be soldered into tipm.
This might be a stupid question.... but my ram 1500 appears to have mini fuses... and this bypass has much wider prongs(and doesn't fit). Am I missing something?
Hey amigo tengo el mismo problema solo que ambuela bomba y sigue sin arrancar le pongo el power y arranca pero alle en el harnes de la bomba casi quemado pero puse la bomba nueva y sigue igual algún solución??😊

I went to the Doug Ram specialist and he said I'll... Electrical pigtail out is better
Great work man
Thank you ✌️
The relay is built into tipm(fuse box) not the fuel pump in the tank
@@seannorris8893 thanks I thought it was in the fuel pump that’s what I heard
How do I build a temporary wire to bypass the relay until I can get a new tipm or external relay kit
@@bradygarrison954 I don’t know I believe that the relay is in the pump

@@jvandrehle is it same year or newer maybe yours is different is all the fuses are the same as this one try to find an adapter
I ended up having to put all 4 fuses in both slots of the relay bypass cable to work

Tipm bypass got my truck started but now my dash says serv 4x4 and emergency brake light is on. Any reasons to why this is happening?
@@rare82breed that’s strange that didn’t happen to me
❤
Is this a temporary fix or can it be used long term?
@@dirktadango2489 the truck is still running till today is been more than a year
Does this work for a 2014,pretty much the same
Yes I think so
Time for a TIPM rebuild
It would be nice if you put the part number in description
Yes sorry TIPM Bypass Cable, Fuse Adapter Fuse Holder,Repair Fuel Pump Relay Bypass Cable Compatible with Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 Jeep Chrysler VW 2007-2016, 14AWG Wire/20AMPs Replace CBWPR091AA a.co/d/0EUPY7H
I do not understand what this fixes? Is it bypassing the fule relay? Or the ignition switch? I see it works but it is not clear to me how it works.
This is for the fuel pump the relay is in the fuel pump which means you’ll have to remove the tank to fix it
Where did you get the bypass?
@@xngelx3538 I think I got it from the auto parts but you can get it from Amazon too a.co/d/iQLt6ty
Same happening to me, but the first 20 fuse doesn’t have power
