Never will forget the intro to this song. One of the first things I had to mimic when I got a kit. A new Carcass album would be a dream come true... still have the classics.
I say Daniel fits perfectly, he can emulate Ken style, he has an organic feel to play and even his variations are pretty similar to Ken's sound, Erlandsson was a bit plastic to my taste, you gotta respect a lot of tiny details that can make the music greater
That's exactly what it was when i made the comment. Seen them yrs ago with with Suffocation in Austin Tx and they said nothing about making a new album, or maybe they did but I was to drunk to remember lol, i just remember how happy i was to see them ripping it up on stage...
I personally don't think the problem was that he was boring... if anything he was too flashy for Carcass. Ken had this simplified but uniquely chaotic style of drumming that complemented carcass so well.
Would be a dream come true? That implies uncertain hope about the idea, it's *Will* be a dream come true, or did you not know they're close to releasing one?
Maybe, but it is also possible Jeff Walker purposely wanted the live version to be played at this tempo. Iive versions often get speeded up for various reasons. Metallica do it a lot, its hard to get a version of Creeping Death which matches the album speed.
As a drummer i fucking love to see guys play with a small kit, showing you dont need 20 cymbals and 8 toms to do metal music!
Can't believe he could do that on such a small kit!
More is more
What exactly did he do that was so mind blowing?

Daniel Wilding is a beast.
Glad to see Dan playing again - haven't heard of anything this dude has been involved in for a while.
And that is what we call
An awesome af but underrated drummer

Top drawer! Can't wait to hear new album and catch Carcass live later this year!!! \m/
Fuck, he's killing it.
This dude was on Aborted's "Slaughter and Apparatus" album.
More Carcass Clips!!!. Saw Them in Chile this year.... so incredible.
Fucking sick! That ride is insane!
All in doubt: Listen to the new song "Captive Bolt Pistol"..
Case closed..

fuckin machine...no wonder why he is chosen by the carcass guy..much respect
I'm going to contradict myself here a little but, the sheer intensity of the drumming yet he seems so laid back! It's amazing to watch / hear.
absolutely great for Carcass.
Good news there, thx for the info. Will look up info about it now.
GRIND!!!
All-time classic!
Tempo is too fast looses its groove
True, but the 2nd music was amazing, dont you agree?
Thanks it thought exactly that
@@jeanpauldoedamn that was an 8yr old comment and still find the tempo to fast. Just not enjoyable to watch all the way. Had to turn it off
by listen that i feel like im back at 10 year old, fking good memory/band/song/Drummer
Sick as hell !!!
love it. Ken approves
Fucking nice chops, great drummer.
first saw this dude covering black dahlia murder songs like 7 years ago. hes sick as hell
I personally don't think the problem was that he was boring... if anything he was too flashy for Carcass. Ken had this simplified but uniquely chaotic style of drumming that complemented carcass so well.
I cant wait for the new carcass
sick
INDEED!
Small kits in metal = RESPECT!
The weird thing about MDF was it seemed like Stage 1 just had this one 4 piece DW kit and all the bands used it (except for Melvins and Weedeater).
daniel wilding !!!
And "Strychnine .213"
damn for a small kit shit sounds massive.
That was fucking sweet
Solid!
Un gran homenaje al buen Ken Owen!!
Classic!
simply brutal !
KEN OWEN ALSO PLAYS WITH A BASEBALL CAP.? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
GREAT DRUMMER
What snare is this? Sounds awesome!
Would be a dream come true? That implies uncertain hope about the idea, it's *Will* be a dream come true, or did you not know they're close to releasing one?
Fucking Carcass! \m/
Daniel Erlandsson plays boring? What are you smoking?
Fucking Great and without the boring playing and massive kit from the arch enemy player
Poder
a new one is coming! fact
sick indeed
Carcass rule!!!
🤘😀🚬💨💨💨
nothing wrong with a big kit dude.
Far too fast for my liking... This song is about groove, not speed.
He have a tail!? O_o lol
Grande batera!! Mas está com uma baqueta saindo da bunda?????!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!
Good but to fast.
ex aborted he is amazing!@
filth
Too fast...loses the groove completely at that tempo.
It's too fast, has little to do with the original...it's loosing all the groove and the catchiness.
No I guess I just didn't like the way he played
I love Carcass but this guy I don't know. I don't like his style...
guy needs to ease back on the tempo, he is playing it Far too fast... other than, he is doing exceptionally great for these guys.
Maybe, but it is also possible Jeff Walker purposely wanted the live version to be played at this tempo. Iive versions often get speeded up for various reasons. Metallica do it a lot, its hard to get a version of Creeping Death which matches the album speed.
Mala ejecución!
wn a sonado casi tal cual a lo original , maestro
