I've done exactly this job (diy). Ikea kitchens are (sort of) a cheap option but their fittings are rubbish. Mine blocked up easily so fitted a Mcalpine sink waste kit 👍
These are not that bad. During the massive house refurb, we bought their "external" kitchen sink as a temporary fix. It lasted without any fault for nearly a year.
I notice a mains electrical socket under the sink ,who thought mains electric and water so close to each other was a good idea, a good short term fix would be to change the electric socket to an out door socket with ip 66 rating
I’m a plumber not an electrician so I can’t touch it. Fully get what your saying and it’s definitely not an ideal place. However it was passed on that it needs moving and a qualified electrician is sorting it 👍🏻
Great video, and a waste I've not seen before. Is that something from europe like Ikea or something? Have you seen them before, if so where? Keep up the great work!
Good video. Real world plumbing And no annoyingplumberparts cheesiness. Or p.b depression. Keep it up 😊
Thankyou!
About time someone said what we're all thinking.
Love it - much more tidy using standard UK components.

Yay! Using a great mic giving clear audio and an upbeat, easy listening delivery 👏👏👏. Great stuff thank you 👌🏴
