Never been a biker but I’m getting a Spyder as a retirement gift in three years time. In the UK I can ride one on a car licence. Plenty of lovely country roads not far from me to visit!
The Demo ride went great. I purchased a new '24 Sea to Sky (with $5288 off of MSRP). Now I just want to put some miles on before the snow comes here in Michigan.
my f3 limited rear top case will fit 2 full size helmets. one is upright and the other on its side with the open end facing the upright helmet. try it. slide the one that will be on its side into the top case then lay it down.
I delivered the Spyder back to the dealer so I cannot test, but I believe maybe I'll test with my brothers. Thank you for helping ride safe and in peace.
I was almost ready to pull the trigger on a 24 Goldwing trike conversion by CSC, but will maybe now do a test drive on one of those as well before I decide
I know I know they’ve gotten the bike so right and so many ways that are fully automatic transmission is so close and now that seems to be the craze in new motorcycles coming out in 2025 and I’m all for it. Thank you for commenting ride safe and in peace.
I like the semi as well especially since the downshift values are so low. I frequently downshift manually. The Rykers are CVT I believe. That might be the way to go instead of an automatic.
Chris , you are absolutely right I was rambling on and on. I got the fuel mileage wrong on the Can-Am and the Ducati the Ducati times will get 48 miles to the gallon and probably averages about 42 miles to the gallon and yes, I thought the Can-Am was in the neighborhood of thirtyish Yet please note I only filled it up with fuel a couple of times where you have filled it up with fuel many times sorry for the mistake. Thank you for commenting. Hopefully other viewers will read your, ride safe and in peace and again I plugged your channel in this video
Glad you enjoyed your time riding the Spyder, we do too every time we go out. Ok it does have its faults, but doesn’t everything! Putting these aside it is a fun ride & gets positive comments were ever we go! We have met so many people in our travels who think the same as us. And thanks for sharing your positive thoughts on the Spyder, ride safe regards Stephen Alberta Canada.
Man oh man you must have some great rides in Canada on this beautiful machine. I returned it to the dealer but still think about it often. Ride safe and in peace.
One of my riding bodies is from Sweden and now he lives in Buffalo, New York. He’s a great guy. It’s interesting because you think he would own a BMW or a Husqvarna when he rides a Harley Road Glide, which is pretty cool thank you for subscribing. I wish I could ride in your country someday We’ll see what the future holds ride safe and in peace.
These 3 wheelers can be but are not necessarily an alternative to motorcycles. Same way quad bikes offer a complete different riding experience, so do the can am's. Many of the younger generation have discovered these trikes and are having loads of fun with them, plus they can be customised with so many aftermarket accessories. If you do ride a bike but your partner won't go near one ,they might at least sit on one of these!!
I don't own this machine, but I think the frequency of the oil changes are reasonable. I do believe there are many body panels to remove most take it to a dealer...i think. Ride safe and in peace thank you for commenting.
I have a HD Road Glide sitting in my garage now those videos will be uploaded in several weeks please I’m asking to watch and comment as it will be a comparison. I own 5 bikes including a 2024 Road Glide which I love. Thank you for commenting. Btw the Spyder does not have a cvt transmission like a snowmobile it has a geared 6 speed that functions very well…but it does sound like a Harley 🙂 ride safe and in peace
I recently bought a Spyder Sea to Sky as my retirement gift. 50 years of riding, no health issues, but love the comforts. Amazing machine.
Glen congratulations on your retirement my God bless you in your retirement, ride safe an in peace.

We are going to retire at the same time. You'll love the Spyder no doubt. God bless the UK our friends and ally. Be safe thank you for commenting.

Enjoy your ride I am looking to purchase Sea to Sky in January for my birthday 😅
Good for you did you get white or the purple? I happy for you enjoy ride. Ride safe and in peace.
@@maraudermitchelli got white since it's a '24. Looks like the '25's are Purple.

Both are great machines enjoy the ride thank you for commenting.
I will be test riding an RT Limited next week. They are pricey but I'm intrigued.
Please let me know in a new comment how your demo ride went. Ride safe and in peace.
Agree with the fully automatic comment. At this point, why not.

I prefer Semi-Automatic over fully automatic.

Great video. Regarding fuel, MPG is closer to 30 than 40. BRP recommends 91 octane. Thanks for the plug!

I heard about your channel from Spyder Chris. Your videos are great. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience. Thanks again, and ride safe.

@maraudermitchelli one would think. I personally look more for ADV bikes but Spyder has inspired me.
@@magnusb6311 I know our interest change I think that’s normal… for me

How often do you need to change the oil and do you do it yourself? Thanks.

@@maraudermitchelliThank you for your videos and your quick response.
Well I prefer 3 wheels because I will buy a Can-Am Canyon.
Richard those are really neat...let me know in a new comment when you get one. Ride safe and in peace.
Are all the spiders so low they bottom out with 2 up
Well it's still a Snowmobile with wheels. Gee my New Harley Tri-Glide doesn't have rear wheel slip In the rain! Nor does it scoop up road kill. Lol!
