I’m out of O Hare for express and I remember 3 years ago during the polar vortex we were told not to come in due to batteries exploding on vehicles and a bunch of other crazy stuff!
I fedex drive in murietta California So I’m glad I don’t have to deal with harsh weather right now we’ve been getting a lot of chilli mornings and gloomy weather only because it’s December but other than that clear conditions over here love the video bro 🤙🏾 stay safe out there

Relevant question/information needed: You said you are able to pay your bills and only work 39 hours. This is considered "impossible" to the driver world as most are forced to many hours in these times. In order to be a bit more helpful, could you be detailed to how your situation is even possible. Where you hired as a part-time? Are you in a somewhat rural area that doesn't require many packages? Do you know people that gives you a advantage to work less hours? At this point you are probably aware your situation isn't common and I think it would be very helpful to be detailed in that area. Thank you.

Just know that fedex ground is all contacted not through fedex and a fedex express driver is actually a driver for fedex but your best bet is to driver for fedex ground much easier to get in just make sure you have a the required license and endorsements if needed because some of the larger trucks you need a for hire endorsement to drive but ground is worth it and pays really well I been driving for ground for almost year after I quote Amazon driving and it’s worth it. Plus fedex doesn’t hound you or micro manage you at long as you do the route your fine. As far as applying to just go on indeed and put in fedex driving and you should see a list of different names contractors through fedex ground apply there and that’s how you it goes pretty much no special requirements other than a clean driving record and commercial delivering experience

My battery died yesterday on my 2020 civic hatch n now whole bunch of lights on n the dash saying hella problems wrong hella brake system problems , tire pressure monitor problems , wierd shot but no engine light car run like it always had , like new cuz it’s new ! But these lights buggin me out . I took videos to show u if u can help me
Baltimore fedex is trash bad pay ....routes are over packed ... and loaders break everything....no breaks 0 ......days are usually from 7 to 12 hours ... and paid by day not hour
The worst part about driving for an independent contractor at FedEx Ground is their ic business model. It's a joke. If you all were smart, you'd be trying to get in UPS💯
I use to work for USPS & left. I start FedEx next wk. What's the deal with the uniforms? The shirts look legit & I guess are at no cost to us but what about the pants & shorts? Where do you buy them? You do the best vidz on FedEx driving vlogs.
Really appreciate your content, I've been working for an Amazon DSP for the last 2 and a half years roughly and i'm just sick of Amazon's BS authoritarian rules and constant threats, now they have some new AI camera system that films you doing your job all day and talks to you while you're driving, as well as collects your biometric data. That's the last straw for me. I applied for a Fed Ex ground contractor and I'm going through the hiring process now, thanks for all the videos, good insight.
Was with a dsp for a year, hated working 5 days with them during peak. Called out so many times from exhaustion. Been with fedex ground since November and now I enjoy coming into work. Don’t feel like a mail man anymore.
Yeah it was pretty crazy at the station I worked at (DDT3), I was getting around 340-370 packages around peak, very intense. I just hate the setup they have with rushing you to find, wheel out, scan and load your van of 300+ packages in 10 minutes, it gets really frustrating. On top of that you have e-mentor forcing you to drive like a grandma all day. It's really a terrible job. What do you like about Ground over Amazon?
