This woman here says 300/400/500 thousand dollar's like that is chump change . I can not afford anything close to that amount but it sure is nice that some folks can. The homes and lands well community rather is larger than this town i live in and they have way more things to do there as well. South Carolina is beautiful . I have a sister in law along with her husband that lives in a beach town super close to myrtle beach called Surf Side they live like 2 maybe 3 blocks from the ocean and have been there for 50 years. That town is amazing.
I’m not sure how I said the prices that gave off the impression that any amount in particular is chump change, but that is not my opinion. The median price in our area is $415,000, so these communities are in line with what is the normal cost of living around here. Thanks for watching!
Your videos are great! Can you please tell me if all of these communities have saline/salt water pools? Also, is it safe to paddle board in and around any of these communities? Thank you for your informative channel about the Summerville 55+ communities!
Thank you Brenda, so glad you're enjoying the videos! Four Seasons has saline pools (both indoor and outdoor). I don't believe the other communities are saline but I could be wrong about that so need to check! (Horizons' pool is 2 years out so we'll see what they do.) Any community here that has lakes or ponds has the potential for alligators, but a lot of people paddleboard anyway. 🤷♀So if you're comfortable with that, you can paddle board in the lakes at Four Seasons, Schultz Lake at Cresswind, or Buffalo Lake at Horizons.
Since there are several 55+ communities in the Summerville area, my husband and I are wondering if you notice a difference in quality and buyer experience between the builders in these communities? Thank you!
Yes there is some! I don't typically like to give my opinion on builders in the comments (don't want them coming after me if I say something they don't like!) but feel free to email me if you'd like :)
The HOA fee is $259/month. That is comparable to all the other 55 communities in our area. It includes lawncare, the guard/gate, lifestyle director, and more.

It would be nice to see your eyes. Sunglasses are hard 4 me to deal with when watching someone on yt. Plus, ypur thumbnail shows you have beautiful eyes. Don't cover an asset:)

Let’s be honest if you made it to your mid-50s and 60s and you can’t afford a $300,000 house you did something very wrong

You failed to mention the incredibly high monthly fees at the Horizons. The horses may be affordable but the fees aren't!

what is the sq footage for the Four Seasons homes and Summerwind Crossings?
Hi Linda - they both have many different floorplans, so it just depends on which one! Generally they start around 1,500 and go up from there!

Hi Nancy! Del Webb Nexton is the only community that offers a 3-night stay onsite.

All of them allow pets! 🐾 Do you have a question about a particular breed or number of animals more specifically?
2 dogs, one a Doberman, will need to fence in an area of the yard
