- 🇪🇸 Spain performed their Free routine themed “Darwin’s Theory of Evolution” with a determination to secure their qualification for the Tokyo Games.
The fairly new choreography, performed for the first time at the 2021 European Championships where they won the silver medal, scored 92.3000 points!!

Gymnastics under water too. I love my gymnastics but the strength you must need to hold breath and do those moves. Wow
I was talking to a guy who was training for a half Iron Man marathon and one of the things he had to do with swimming was a backwards flip underwater. He had to get an instructor to teach him because he couldn't hold long enough to do it.
I been doing that since I was a kid. Some of these things are easy to some as it's just one of those natural things.
It might look similar, but it doesn't really have any more to do with gymnastics than it does pretty much any sport. The skills are very different

What stamina, amazing breathing technique and physical abilities and for five minutes. They should get a medal during the Tokyo Olympics coming soon.

Very impressive, wow! Loved their costumes like frogs and reptiles. Music and costume and froggie legs were very Darwinesque. I thought they were better artistically and technically than the US team.

@@jazzyjazz9872 a lot of people don't believe is what Darwin taught (including me) so the concept wasn't the best but it was a great routine and I respect the girls - I am a synchronized swimmer the person was just saying that this routine is a lot based on religion (or lack thereof)
Beautiful. I like how costumes gives this dragon sort of vibe, dragon in jungles and choreography perfectly fits the music.

Whilst I have utmost respect for the artistry and athletic skill of these swimmers, I felt the vibe was less Darwin's Theory of Evolution, more The Loch Ness Monster.
Have you seen the Loch Ness Monster routine from a few years back? I don't remember who did it, but it was fantastic!
The two are close to the same idea for me. Love the “I come from the water “ idea of it though.

Greece should have never made it to the Olympics. Definitely issues with FINA's scoring. US was far better than Greece.
Watching this I feel the same. I feel USA Definitely should’ve scored higher, and I prefer this performance over Italy.

Fina judges being shady. Very inconsistent judging occurred.

@@dittohead7044 And it will always be a theory, like the theory of universal gravitation. Scientific theories are the highest standard of description. In the past some theories were called "laws" but that's outdated.
@@dittohead7044 as the other person said. What you said shows your ignorance. In order to be accepted as a theory it must pass vigorous tests, and attempts to prove it false. It must be the opposite of what you claim. You don't become an accepted theory if it's highly doubtful. Please, if you're going to make claims about science actually study it a bit!

They have to choose a theme for their performance. According to you it has to be something related to swimming? Why? Like dance it is an art from that can tell any story.
@@DreamBelief yes, I get they need to choose a theme. I just didn’t really see that story in their performance. Still a great performance, but I think the themes are a bit of a stretch.
What's Darwin evolution theory?
Evolution explains common ancestry of species that compete amongst eachother to survive. Those that adapt to their environment survive their species in procreation, each generation slightly changes the creature; meanwhile those that are unable to adapt go extinct.
In more understandable terms -humans evolved from creatures (monkeys) or from an amoeba from the sea rather than being created by the hands of God as the Bible teaches. Spain’s portrayal fits the chaotic teaching of evolution. The teaching is from satan himself. At Darwin’s death bed he recanted all he taught.
