    Hi Liz I don't know how old you are or your viewers but you said you wanted people to share what we do for skin care. I'm in my late 40's and people tell me I look like I'm in my 20's. So I thought I'd share what I use with you and your viewers. I have to say that I may have inherited good aging genes from my father but what works for me is I exfoliate once or twice a week with baking soda and a gentle cleanser. For my daily I use a gentle cleanser, rose water for toner and CeraVee moisturizer day and night and that's it. I keep it very simple and my skin glows and stays supple all year round. Very affordable too!

      Simply Ana that's so nice of you! I have to try it lol. Can you show us a picture of you in your 20s and now please!

      I've heard great things about CeraVee, I think I'll have to pick it up! I love Cetaphil and they sound similar.Thanks for sharing!

    • @AnnaCoutureTV
      @AnnaCoutureTV 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I can't meet your request Melissa, I knew people would ask for a picture but as you can see my profile picture is missing. I don't like sharing my picture on public social media....another reflection of my age! Lol
      But I saw immediate positive results with this combination. I hope you try it, it's pretty affordable. I was already pleased with CeraVee moisturizer and when I used the rose water I was blown away! Make sure if you buy the rose water that it's made with distilled water! Oh, and the cleanser I use is Cetaphil.

    • @AnnaCoutureTV
      @AnnaCoutureTV 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Liz, you should try it! It caught my attention because other than that it's highly recommended here on youtube, it contains hyaluronic acid. And I checked my cleanser and it's the Cetaphil cleanser, like you mentioned. Next time I will purchase the CeraVee cleanser and try them together but I have to say the rose water is a key factor. I spray it on my face and let it soak into my pores until it's completely dry and then I apply my moisturizer.

    i used to use all these skin care lines and brands drugstore and high end but i switched to a natural products to take care of my skin and im so happy with it. at least you know that you re not putting harmful chemicals ( in a fancy jar)on your face. and by the way coconut oil melts everything off so you dont need a balm and have to go over with a micellar water. i finally realized that actually there is no better way to take care of your skin than the natural one.

    tea actually can dehydrate you if it's caffeinated so it's not like water!

    • @cathycl7698
      @cathycl7698 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've always wondered, but is this an American thing? I don't know if you are from the US, but I'm always reading about tea having caffeine in (American) books too and it confuses me. Tea doesn't have caffeine here, at least not any of the brands I've tried?

    • @ninar7040
      @ninar7040 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Tea that comes from the actual tea bush (i.e. black tea, green tea, white tea and oolong tea) does contain caffeine in varying quantities depending on the type. In every country ;) However herbal teas, despite being commonly referred to as tea, are actually infusions of other herbs and not tea, so they generally do not contain caffeine. Hope that clears it up :)

    • @cathycl7698
      @cathycl7698 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does! That also makes a lot of sense, since I always stick to fruit infusions and such. Probably should have Googled that first haha, but thanks for the response!

    Thank you for sharing! I have dry skin too and I drink a bottle of water, apply lip balm and drench my hands with hand creme before I go to bed on top of my regular night time skin care routine. Also sleeping with a humidifier helps out a lot too! I've seen such a difference.

  • @elizabethstamler9242
    @elizabethstamler9242 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    🛀🏽 I'm glad you found a routine that works! I am also dry and live in NJ so winters are hard.. I know you are in Texas so you may not need these two extra steps but I have to tell you.. a humidifier (small nightstand one) makes a big difference and I love my dr. Dennis gross face steamer. They recently remodeled it, I've had mine for a few years and it always makes a big difference for me!

    I agree with u about the belif moisture bomb. OMG, I have really dry sensitive, dull skin and since using this my skin isn't flaking, it has luminosity to it, and I even notice I'm no longer red around my nose, and cheeks. It's like a miracle in a jar, I'm obsessed. I really think anyone with dry skin should try it. Actually I think any skin type would appreciate this. BTW, girl your hair looks amazing. So healthy and shiny. I'm so jealous😟... I'm a curly girl who would totally trade them for your hair any day. 😃

    As an Asian I don't understand why people spend a ton of money on makeup removers. Just use some coconut oil or any kind of oil and emulsify it with some water. It removes the toughest of makeup without disturbing the balance of your skin.

    Not sure if anyone else already recommended this, but if you have a Daiso in your area, they sell cotton squares that are a really good dupe for the Shiseido cotton squares, and they're only $1.50 😊 I'm putting your eye cream and the drunk elephant on my list to check out next time I'm ready to purchase an eye cream. Thank you!

    • @foreverlovezzz

      Try anything that said Hydrating toner. You dont need any acid type toner. Basically, it helps balancing your PH after losing some moisture from your cleanser.

      MissLizHeart I know what you mean..the first few weeks are rough but once you get past that the results are worth it. It's like a new layer of skin. You should try Differen! It is OTC now and less harsh than the other 2 types of retinoid but still effective :)

    Hi! Thanks for this video I've been subscribed to you for a while now and having a catch up day as I think your videos are great! I have quite a few products mostly Lancôme and Clinique which I love but I'm suffering with a dry forehead which makes it difficult to use my foundation I'm in my thirties now and have tried exfoliating with a Bee good product which has great reviews and also trying to drink more water but it's stubborn do you have any advice as anything else I can do? I moisturise every morning and night too... ❤️

    Can you please suggest good sun screen for dry skin/anti aging.. My skin is brown to olive tone and whenever I apply sunscreen the skin gets more darker .. this is really strange... is it just me or does this happen to all darker skinned girls???

    I too use the Garnier cleansing water. I'm definitely going to try the shiseido cotton squares. I believe you recommended them in a previous video. Some of the cotton rounds I've bought leave cotton behind on my eye lashes. Thanks Liz💕 Love your vids! 🛀🛀🛀🛀🛀🛀

    Hi Liz! I think you are lovely and I absolutely love watching all your videos. One thing that I would like to ask you someone kinda already mentioned something. Would you ever consider to stop using all products that are toxic? I would like to recommend two books to start with. The first one is called "No More Dirty Looks"- The Truth about your Beauty Products and The Ultimate Guide to Safe and Clean Cosmetics by Siabhan O'Connor & Alexandra Spunt. The other book is called "Holistic Beauty from The Inside Out" - Your Complete Guide to Natural Health, Nutrition and Skincare by Julie Gabriel.

    Im almost 40 years old. I have no lines, wrinkles, bags or dark circles. only natural dimples. Since age 12, the only makeup foundation i use is cover girl. And i dont wash it off at night, i leave it on. In the morning in the shower i wash my face with only ivory soap. I never put anything, ever on my face but covergirl foundation and powder and ivory soap. I think if you keep it simple te better your face will be when your older. The only thing i ever also did was, in the summer if i start to braak out on my forehead i put straight alcohol on my forehead. When i go to the DR they think im in my 20s. So my skin has held up well, never did fillers or botox or any of that stuff i see people using Less is best when it comes to the face i think.
