I own an Anycubic Mono X and recently bought an Anycubic M3 Max.
I'm still struggling with print times. To investigate this, I set up the same prints on both printers. The MonoX produced a print time that was almost twice as fast. How is that possible? They have the same screen, I have everything set the same. I also installed the latest firmware with the M3 Max. Still the M3Max is twice as slow. How is this an improvement?

i mostly want to use this for printing of miniatures , did the ending bit mean that the mono 4k will print at a higher quality at small scale? if so, can i upgrade the buildplate to that of the M3?

Hi, sir, the print screen of M3 is also larger than that of 4K.

It will be down to resolution. I looked at Mars 3 that had a better resolution than the M3 but bought M3 as the resolution was minimal but the larger build plate and light of the M3 means you can do more quicker. The M3 still has a slightly better resolution than Mono X 4K as iits technically referred as 4+K.

I bought the Mono 6K, I would have bought the M3 plus but it spits resin. When is the large DLP printers due to be released? Please compare Mono 4k vs Mono 6k vs M3 plus printing a clear bottle.

@@killforpeace From my research so fare, you are right. Less energy used, longer use life, better detail, quicker prints. I couldn't wait any longer, pre-ordered PMX 4K last year, order got messed up, lost money. Not totally Anycubic's fault. What do you want to print? Most people do minitures, I need clear glass like prints of bottles, anything past 4K can do that. If you don't need 3d printer now, I would wait until sep/oct/nov, DLP will be the new standard.

@@cortezforever Actually I have Photon Mono 4K for a week and I am pretty happy with it. Just like u said LCD screen lifetime makes me nervous. Its really expensive in my country thanks to the currency so its hard to buy another one.
