Crackin video mate, was this part of the line that the old Ruchill miley was part of? I live up in Dunfermline now but i grew up in Glasgow in the 80s and went to St Augustines schools in Milton. When me and pals would dog school sometimes we used to fire doon to the massive tunnel under Ruchill golf course and took us out at the back of Maryhill shopping centre if i mind right then i think there was a another tunnel that took you from Maryhill to the top of Byres road/Botanics? Was 30 odd year ago now lol so memory a bit foggy and info on the miley is scarce but i assumed that one that went under Ruchill was a branch off of the old Possil station line. And no im not thinking of the Halloween pen under the the nolly, this tunnel was massive and was pitch black in the middle bend.
Thanks m8 much appreciated. Yes same line that went under Ruchill Park and on route for Possil Station which is still there actually, Abandoned. Unfortunately that tunnel under Ruchill has been covered over, well the entrances atleast. There's a portal under the Street near the Tesco Maryhill Shopping Centre that leads into the Old Station but heavily gated, so you've been through there? Fascinating stuff
Haha 👏 wheres my ticket 🎟 😎 can't wait! These remnants should really really be reinstalled at some degree, for walkers or cycling or anything. We are in the age of recycling and these Wonderful structures are sitting neglected... Its Kelvindale Road 📍 the point it passes over the River Kelvin, can't miss it on Google maps. Situated at the Kelvin between the area's of Kelvindale/Cleveden and Wyndford on the other side 👍
True, and in a style that pays homage to the ancient world. The brickwork atleast, any Victorian designs are now gone, little artistic details is what the Victorians were known for. These structures aren't aesthetically Victorian but they sure did build properly 👏

Wow! so cool 😎 ♥️ ✌️🏴
I learned how to ride a motorbike on that old iron bridge when it was still there
About a month ago i was in 1 of the tunnels just up from here, planning to do another soon
Interesting! Kelvindale Tunnel underneath the Forth and Clyde Canal at Maryhill? Just above the Kelvin but under the Canal?
@Urban-Expeditions 1 under Tesco n another just off the canal. Have a few places on the list
@Urban-Expeditions 1 runs alongside the canal
@Urban-Expeditions sorry not wanting to post to much info on here
@@Baked420. be careful in the one under tesco ive went in and seeing a homeless man sleeping under a shelf like thing
Any chance you can share the coordinates of the bridge, trying to map a fantasy tram line that avoids the city centre ❤❤

The Victorians are knew how to build things properly meanwhile our architects have gone backwards
