I have been teacing on line for a short time. I find that it is a challenge to connect with students and to engage them in an active teaching and learning process. One strategy that seems to be working for me is to have students work with a partner to complete course assignments. And, I try to be as responsive as possible and to clear up any misunderstandings that always seem to arise.

I took classes for a electrical license back in the 1970. We had a code books that we could read but the teacher would talk a bit on one thing and then jump to another thing. It was difficult to stay with his teaching. On line classes basically eliminate the teacher but the information is much easier to remember. Since you are dealing with information that you could look up in a book put together in a organized way it. Add easier to remember.
