@@Frivzy76And what's the point of "Fun fact : rabbits need lots of attention!" how is that fun? It's just an evidence it doesn't make Jax more in need for attention. His point is absurd.
@@Doomz_day a lot of animator have to move the mouth up and down even for characters that don’t frown. I don’t really think that it’s something to think about in my opinion.
@@pxmpkin_pie I'm not trying to argue btw but I rewatched the episode and when you go to the part when he says "that genuinely hurt" and FOCUS on his face, you'll see him FROWN, it wasn't a smug frame since it was at the end
I heard someone say that his biggest fear is being trapped/controlled or subject to consequences. His constant acting out is born out of a desire for freedom, (maybe due to past trauma, like he didn't have any freedom or control over the life he lived beforehand). The digital circus is perfect for him since he always gets off without consequences.
I agree with this because if you notice all the times Jax gets frustrated and basically pouts about things is because its not going his way, i believe Jax had a pretty neglectful life in the real world and was pretty controlled most of his life...Goose has said that Jax is a troubled individual and is definitely a psycho! He doesn't like being lectured, he doesn't like being bored, and he doesn't like not having his way. In ep 2 he tries taking charge in the chase scene and as soon as that's taken away he starts losing it and getting irritated, ep 3 he tried to have his fun until he was tied up and he stopped having fun. In this episode however we got to see more of Jax's depressed state when he feels powerless, you gotta remember that he doesn't like trying or working so he got bored which Jax seems to hate. I also feel like Jax doesnt like being ignored or alone even if he doesn't like the people around him, with a broken and fucked up mind like his I doubt he likes being alone with his own thoughts...basically Jax is a brat and constantly needs his mind stimulated or he'll have a mental breakdown, making him one of the most interesting characters when it comes to his mental health which is why hes my favorite, he has a lot of potential to be a more interesting irredeemable character
I think that he wasn't just neglect but also abused, thats why he looks so scared when they talk about punishment. And people that are abuse tend to have a messed up view of the world, that's probably why he is abusive himself cuz to him it might look like just messing around since he experienced much worse,(my cousins would mess around with eachother and me like this too, but not as violent) plus he might not feel bad since they can't actually get hurt/pain isn't real even though it feels somewhat real to them. Not saying what he does is alright, it's definitely wrong but as someone who had been abused as a child (my cousin where also abused) I can tell you that it messed up what I thought was normal for a long time, like saying "I love you" or giving your kids hugs just seemed so weird to me. I used to think it was cuz the kids or parents were sick (at the time, like a pitty thing) that's why they were so affectionate. So he might also be someone who is abused. At least I think that's the case since he used to live on a corn farm but is scared of corn (I think goose tweeted that a long time ago) hopefully he'll grow out of it and be kinder.
I honestly think this is true except about Jax being a control freak. Because when you look at Jax and the cast as a whole, that's just not the case. We already know being in the digital circus makes you go insane. And an abundance of the cast, in order to cope, develop, or create a persona. Jax causes chaos, is sarcastic, and narcissistic. All parts of his persona. When on an adventure, he makes a mess for his own amusement. I personally don't see any instances of him trying to control a situation. He just causes a mess.
JAX IS NOT A CONTROL FREAK! In the episodes he just wants attention as a usual rabbit needs attention, and his additive changes because he probably had some side effects from epilepsy that may have been caused from the blinking screen as most rabbits are sensitive and can have a heart attack from this stuff.
At first I seriously thought he had epilepsy.. and then thought that he had a fear of humiliation because he asked “nobody can see this.. right?” So he was scared of being humiliated or put down. (Being a control freak makes more sense though)
He may also ask if "nobody can see this" because he knows we're watching the crew, at some point (when he points at us or when he tries to "break" the fourth wall-) and he doesn't want his punishment to be a part of the things we see, because that would humiliate him even more!
There's a theory going around that the avatars of the characters resemble who they are as humans. Gangle has to wear a mask and isn't grrat with emotions, Ragatha is a people pleaser and let's Caine drag her to the adventures like a rag doll, Pomni is a jester because she makes others feel better in expense of others, Kinger is a king chess piece, he needed his wife for stability, when she was gone, that's probably why he went insane, and Jax? He's a rabbit. In wild, rabbits can be pretty cruel. They also get scared easily and are terrified of flashing lights, and need A LOT of attention. All that fits Jax - the employee re-evaluation was probably him being exposed to his fears for a longer period of time, and he seems to want a lot of attention, positive or negative. He can also get pretty cruel when he's not controlled, but hates being controlled and wants to be the one in control. He's also called a coward by Zooble, and leaves dangerous situations, even if he himself caused them.
I add to that theory that time slowed down in the room(?), so to Jax, it was hours, but to everyone else, it was a few minutes, an hour at most. Plus, everyone is putting actual rabbit facts on him like the fact that rabbits need a lot of attention and that they hate flashing lights, so he was very much tortured in there
Actually, tho I’ll be surprised if anyone sees this, if you go to episode 4 when Cain says the one where Jax doesn’t talk the entire time, and right after zooble says Good to Jax, it’s probably a 1 off thing, but his smug smile fades slightly as if her words actually stung him a bit.
Yea he may be mean but he is just mean because he doesn't want to be seen as weak by the others and wants to change but he is to far in to stop now and since everyone there hates him he might be depressed and when Caine takes a note from the suggestion box and it says " let's have a adventure where jax can't speak" he says that it was actually hurtful and zooble replied by saying "good" his smile starts to falter because he wasn't teasing like normal
My head cannon:the reason he was so sad in episode4 is because he was probably sad about the fact he had to live a normal life again most likley before he was put into the similation he had a very boring and lifeless life but in the simulation crazy shit happen almost everyday shit that doesint happen irl which is why hes so happy and has so much fun but in episode 4 hes back to the boring life he tried to run away from
I honestly thought he just got tired. Like I can’t imagine anyone NOT acting like how Jax did after if he had to go through that weird reevaluation. And the work on top of it. He just seemed mentally tired
Okay, I’m gonna go a bit away from this theory for episode 4. I feel like this theory applies to episodes 2 and 3 where he’s disappointed/irritated when he stops having fun but I feel like episode 4 is a reminder of his life he had outside of the digital circus, regardless of if he can remember it or not. It’s a normal adventure compared to what Caine was making before plus there’s also the additive that there’s consequences to his actions. I feel like the circus allows him to do whatever he wants but because he can’t do that here he’s miserable rather than disappointed. That’s just my take on things though. I do believe he’s a control freak but I feel like this episode was just something different than playing into that.
I think it’s because he doesn’t want to face the consequences cain could do because Cain seems like he’s lost his mind and Zooble says “The only thing holding Cain back is the fact that he actually likes us” and if Cain didn’t like them anymore the consequences could get worse
I have a theory about Jack, I think that he’s mean to the other characters because he doesn’t want to acknowledge that they’re humans, which would realise his situation.
Well in my opinion i think that he always likes having his own "fun" but when the cast gets mad at him he changes completely because he always thinks he is in the right
tbh, all i feel is that Jax is a person that is tired. It feels like he is hiding his real self under the mask of a carefree somewhat unhinged teenager.
I believe the video of masks flashing essentially tortured jax, which made him unable to have fun anymore. That's why his attitude changed : he wasn't having fun so he lost his typical jerk facade. Compare this to how soldiers in the army are mentally ruined through their training in order to be better soldiers, just less intense obviously-
And there's also a fact he says "no one sees this right" (I believe that's it) because he doesn't want anyone knowing/seeing that he doesn't have control of that situation gangle put him in 😖
Its probably a response he gained either from his life before the circus or during the circus. If it started during the circus then him actually being like this could be a response to the absurdity and out of control nature of the circus so he does everything he can to have control over everything he does to keep himself sane and from abstracting. Or he couldve always been a control freak but maybe in a different way? I don't know its just a theory. A jax theory. (Im not good at this if you cant tell)
Honestly, I see some of these theories and I think these people are out of their minds. Sometimes something seems so simple yet they overcomplicate it and it’s sometimes funny. No I’m not clowning on them or anything, and maybe I don’t see what they see all too well. But when it comes to this, like why Jax “suddenly changed” after the re-evaluation is because he was tortured for a while. Going through something like that can be scarring, and maybe that’s why he “changed” he didn’t want that to happen again. Either way, I might just be looking at this with a simplistic lens, but this is what I believe
I like the theory what he was hiding behind his cartoon persona and in episode 4 the fast food restaurant reminded him of then he was human which is why he went to pomni he thought cause she is the newest in the crew he would be able to have a normal conversation whith
