Facilitation: setting the ‘right’ tone

A successful workshop depends on the quality of participant contributions. The facilitator needs to create the right environment and support for participants quickly, and then stay out of the way so participants can contribute their best towards a shared goal.
In this short video, we briefly discuss how facilitators can set the ‘right’ tone early by managing the persona and perceived status they project into the room, and creating the right environment for sensitive discussions ... or sensitive participants.
