My biggest concern was seeing Arianna as a pop star, and not her actual character! I hope she uses her vocals and sings in a more musical theater way, considering she was on broadway.
One thing people seem to forget about Ariana is that she came from broadway. She was an actor long before she was a singer. I am not at all surprised that she performed well.
But what do you feel about it being two part? That’s the most important thing I’m worried about, I’m so tired of movies ending on cliff hangers and then taking years to conclude
Sadly I'm not. I used to love ari but her responses to very valid criticism that she should acknowledge in a more adult and professional way has led me to not even want to see it. And I'm a WOO NERD! I did every play in school that had to do with it! I am a big advocate for separating the art from the artist. But from the nickelodeon stuff, to her not caring about tearing apart a whole family, i don't even want to see anything she's in anymore.... I usually don't care about who's in what as long as I like the movie..... like i still love everything Danny M was in.... But all I can see is ariana and i can't get over it or like it. ( Also I am glad danny is in jail! I love his work but he's getting what he paid for!)
I just can’t understand her complete changes in voice, but not only her voice but how she communicates is so contrasting it shows how fake she really is. I can’t look past it, it’s eerie
I do feel like Ariana changes her voice/appearance based on what project she’s working on! I’m curious to see how she’s gonna act after this is released
Yes! The movie is in two parts ending how act 1 ends on broadway with Defying Gravity. From what I’ve heard it seems complete enough to be its own movie without seeming like something is missing. The movie next year will follow up with act 2 almost like a “sequel”

This is the act where it starts to intertwine with the story of Dorthy in Oz and you get to see how Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) “changes” to be seen like how she is in the wizard of oz. So it could be advertised more in that route to get people interested to see Dorthy and the rest of the gang through the perspective of Glinda and Elphaba? Hahahah I don’t know but I hope the second act/second movie ties everything together better with weaving these two storylines together

@@-lixiepixie- Yeah, a teenager I’m pretty sure. I mean, to be fair, her role in 13 kinda had more modern vocals.
She also played Annie, when she was like 5 years old if I’m not mistaken! You can find her doing an interview/behind the scenes on youtube.
