Never even THOUGHT of using anything other than my plain, old iTunes (on macOS) and JukeBox CD ripper (on my 20th century Windows machine) to edit metadata! I'm glad to know there ARE alternatives!
My process today is kinda stupid, actually. Usually, I use RhythmBox on my Linux machine to make sure all the text is spelled correctly, and the titles are numbered in the correct order. Every so often, I add the label art and comments AFTER I toss those mp3s over the network to one of my Apple machines to polish things off.
    Your way is BETTER! Mahalo!
I now that I see that YOU are working on DSD files, I want to follow along on how in blazes one can make DSD recordings!
I wish I were 40 younger so I could FULLY appreciate the improvements DSD could probably make to sound. I have less than 200 SACD and about a hundred DVD-As in my collection.
However, I know that back in the day, I would have adored pulling all my old LPs into the digital world via DSD. Heaven knows I monkeyed around with recording my precious LPs to reel-to-reel via Dolby B or dbx or whatever. Finally, I just settled when they invented Dolby C cassette decks (I never graduated to Dolby S).
Then...I got my first of two DAT machines. Now DAT made recording my LPs a lot of fun again. Predictably...I later played all those DAT tapes into a computer and created WAV files, then MP3s.
I don't do that anymore, but I will enjoy watching the young'uns like you as you have your adventures. Aloha!

Jim, I may be older than you! All my DSD rips were done by a friend of mine via an old PlayStation 2 machine. Don't ask me how. There is a ton of info on line about it. I went through the Reel 2 Real, DAT and Cassette machinations as well. I find myself still listening to a lot of vinyl and most of the time streaming. If you like MP3 Tag please consider supporting its author, Florian Heidenreich by donating to his PayPal page: www.mp3tag.de/en/donations.html. He is a great guy and very smart. Thanks for tuning in and cheers.

@@OldGuyHifi Wow! Lots of new stuff to do! Who'd've though a PS2 would help with creating DSD recording? Nice!
Mahalo for the Florian Heidenreich reference, too!
