Thanks for another great adventure. I cannot count the times ive flown into Sea-tac and the views never get old or routine. Have a blast in Alaska. Looking forward to some familar sights in your next adventure, or all new ones!
So hyped to hear you’re visiting us up here in Alaska! You should try doing the milkrun flight through Southeast Alaska, if you luck out on the weather you get some of the most beautiful views on Earth (in my opinion).
I'm a hold over from the Boeing 707, DC-8 and Convair 990 days. I prefer 4 engine jets and love the A-350. Yes, I'm old. Love good food when I fly. Nice flight. Love the next one to Alaska too. Saw it first.
I agree. KLM has friendlier cabin crew, service and consistency. But Air France has better food and wine. And in normal years Amsterdam Schiphol is much better than CDG.
Great video and looking forward to the alaskan adventure so maybe it's time to revisit the Greenland series. Hard soft product on AF looking great 👍. Hope you get the chance to try their la premier first product.
Thank you for mentioning the positioning of the seat controls. I thought it was just me being clumsy, when I accidentally operate these buttons with my elbow 😂 Good to hear it happens to others as well 😉
I appreciate that with all the flying he does Gabriel prefers to travel Business class, however, as most of us paying our own way usually have to fly Economy or Premium Economy, perhaps we could have some reviews in those two classes from time to time?
If u want a hack on air france you can snipe a cheap premium economy ticket and then upgrade with about 10000 miles when flying out of or into north america
Great vlog as always! What is your job with FR24? All the points hookers agree the AF first class is THE best in the sky today. Check out: Sam Chui, Noel Phillips, and Paul Stewart. And many more! Way up north? The nordic capitols are at 60N. LYR is at 79, much closer!
Great video, I'm taking this flight in Feb 2024, you strike me as a tall guy, I booked a bulkhead window seat thinking the footwell would be wider, but I also love the view of the engines from the back oi the business class cabin, what's your view? Did you find the footwell cramped in 8A? Thanks again :)
Just got off United 787-10 (polaris class) a week ago OGG - ORD. I like it better than this Air France version BUT the Air France food Oui, ça avait l'air plutôt bien! Merci, Jim
This depends on so many assets that to provide a price would not be necessarily relevant, there must be like a dozen different tariffs for one same class, depending on how, when or even where you’ve bought your ticket. You could simply play the buyer and visit airline’s websites to see what they offer?
Complaining about big airports is always easy and mostly done by people who have no knowledge about the history of an airport. It's very often the case that airports can only grow by building new terminals during regular operations. Ok and then you have to connect them. Done often by outer railsystems. Then you have to install gate signs everywhere. So it might look chaotic and messed up but you can't make it better.
Air France Boeing 777 had a terrible beef, all overcooked. Had the cheese too and something I could not even eat before landning. Also por service This was from LAX to CDG. The old 777 should be replaced. Nice trip report as always.
It can’t be worse than the poor and awful Swedish cuisine. And I don’t talk about ARN airport , without any great architecture , very far away from CDG. I don’t know when you have done your LAX CDG flight but for your information food comes from USA , all catering comes from LAX with an American taste , not the same from CDG to LAX ! and the old 777 is an American plane so different from the A380 that was the usual aircraft before the Covid. Compare yes , but with intelligence.
@@franckkleber2055 Interesting to discuss AirPorts and other things that’s not relevant at all. The Air France service, food, lack of English and so one was terrible, so whatever you are doing to protect your airline you like so much, they did fail when I flew Business with them late may.
@@franckkleber2055 for the record I travelled with Robert Lovgren , first off, if you had checked before the insulting reply ( it's easy to verbally abuse someone , and attack their national dishes , I'm not Swedish but every flight I've taken with SAS the service and food has been excellent. Nice video, and great detailing. Agree with your observations about AF and CDG.
Great footage from your window! Looked like a great flight... looking forward to your Alaskan videos 😍
Another perfect trip report! Coincidently, flew that exact aircraft in the same seat from the same gate recently, AF offer an exemplary C product IMHO

What a lovely trip report! very nice. Thanks.

You can upgrade when check in opens it will ask you if you want to upgrade and the price it will cost
And even if the upgrade is too expensive premium economy for cheap is still good
I paid just 875 euros to fly an 11 hour flight and costed 300 to upgrade

Hi Gabriel, are you doing any of the "milk runs" while you are up in Alaska? Alaska flying is the best !! Scenery for days and days !!
AF has the best food among US and European Airlines hands down. Thanks for sharing another great vlog!
Ah Gabriel, my favourite airline reviewer.
Was that the Boeing factory at 09:23 in?
Agree, Air France is good and CDG is a mess (i'm a french guy 😉)
Don't forget to get a Sub Pop souvenir t-shirt from the store in the terminal

Being in business class it will always be amazing… you should travel economy then review that…
Some business class can be bad too - considering their high price.
Not sure if someone already asked, but I noticed the mask? Air France still requires a mask? Thanks.
yey
Food in premiun economy class from DC to Paris is so bad I can't eat and the service is terrible
That's a shame!
While rifling through the amenities case, was that a condom with the eye shade?! Ah, the French!!
No, those were uvex ear plugs 😅
