Someone came out with a guide for 220k xp for bloods recently, I don't play osrs but support the creators, interesting to see the game modes different from rs3, we just have holidays and fronts which are fun
I will say, I think that these analysis videos are great, and I watch all of them. There's a great niche that you could cover that would be much more applicable to your audience - resource items. The things that people tend to flip, the bulk items, are the real story behind all this. PVM and PVP items appeal to the hardcore players, but everything economically rests on the skilling and resource items that trade (you partially covered this with the blood runes ofc). For example, the real-market price of chinchompas went from 1k each to about 650 right now, and cannonballs went from around 200 to 150ish each. These items are cornerstones of OSRS - they're used in skilling and combat, and also are traded often enough that they affect everyone.
i think a lot of people also went to play the diablo 2 remaster. I assume alot of people that played Runescape as a kid also played diablo 2. I could be wrong though

It's somehow really baffling to me that the market would go down because of GIM. I would think the prices would go up because of a smaller supply. Although it also causes less demand.
I kept checking for this video. I started flipping about a month ago, and I've made about 70m starting with a 30m cash stack (I check between classes so I can make dozens of trades daily). I'm gonna be loaded once the market is back to normal.
I don't study the charts, but when I look for long-term investments I check the lifetime prices to see if there's a trend. i.e. chaos runes being 100 gp for like five years straight
cover ge rwt, i don't have ge tracker pro so you might be able to see more than i can. for example look at the price of shoe box at the start of this year, 4500 sold at 27m. thats 100b smuggled through the ge just in that item. did i find proof of the dupe or is it just a website transferring their stock?
I think iron men shouldn't have the ability to drop trade over to mains. They're adding to the economy and never taking anything back from it. Long term, I wonder how much affect drop trading has on certain items
I don't think it has any real effect actually. If anything, I imagine iron men don't affect the economy much. Lets say you and an iron man both do a ton of barrows. You guys are both really lucky and drop a few barrow pieces. The iron man, knowing he could get super unlucky at barrows in the future probably keeps all barrow pieces. Any doubles he'll probably either alch or indeed drop over. You on the other hand will probably not keep any of the pieces, why would you keep Dharocks great axe? The next time you need Dharocks, you'll just buy it from the GE. Unlike the Iron man, you just entered multiple barrows pieces into the economy. Next week, you guys do the same thing again. You guys both get some pieces again. Much like last time you sell the loot from your money maker. The iron man has gotten his second karrils top and he drops it over to his main, and then sells it. You have now once again thrown multiple barrows pieces into the economy, while the ironman has entered only a single piece. --- If you're only paying attention to what ironman add to the game, you'd indeed think that they only worsen the game economy. However, that would be a mistake. Ironman essentially 'hold' items more often than regular players, essentially permanently removing them from the economy. If they hadn't been ironman, we can assume that they would've been normal players, doing the same thing as you and me. Which means that rather than holding onto their items, or occasionally drop trading their big fat loot; they would just sell it into the GE. Tl;dr. Ironmen receive the same loot as normal players. They don't buy from the GE, but they also add fewer items. When they do add items, it'd be fair to assume a normal account would've received the same drop and added the item too.
@@TheDiscoveryCH heres me dropping over 100k coal ore stacks etc, tho that wont influx the market (iknow) Its mostly just high lvl content, giving so many skilling supplies and stuff like secondarys etc etc. And I think we can't deny all these "new" game modes available contribute heavily to these droptables.

Because it'd be fair to assume that a main account could've done the same activity and sold those same items to the GE. The time it took the ironman to gather those items could've been also used to do a few dozen raids and add another pair of dclaws to the game.

That's true, but it's been waaaay worse lately. I "day trade" in OSRS and there's been a lot of times where I've put in a lowball price at -10% from the normal market value, and an hour later when I check again that price is already too high. A lot of the normal flipper items have lost 20% in one day, and the volumes are so low the GE hasn't been updated.

@@bats__ the problem is most good gear has been entirely consistent in its price decrease for as long as its been out but ever since the pandemic started there has been very unnatural price swings that have caused items to drop considerably in value and then swing back up to some degree to counter the fact that its not entirely consistent with the decay rate of an items price. Only recently have an items price swung so dramatically, but the items still have not recovered
