- MXA headed up to the Pacific Northwest and met up with Carson Brown. Carson and his dad built a trick KX125 and updated it to be possibly the closest build to what a 2017 model might be like. Enjoy the sounds of this unique 2 stroke build and stay tuned for Part 2 of this video which will be an inside look at the build and what they did to update it.

sounds so good. to me motocross just isn't the same without 2 strokes
I have Not been driven for 17 years after a crash. But this 2 stroke feeling never left my mind.... i have bought a 250 three weeks bevor, thank you for this great video!!!! Those kind of videos made me buy once again a two stroke bike and i feel so proud now.

good Rider.that was a full blown ,trued balanced ,ported all you can do race bike.i have rode a bunch.of 250,s f,s.i always feel like im on a kids bike.now some 450,s are bad but you never get the same arm ripping power feeling you get on a two stroke!!!

I love 4 strokes but Damn!! A Pro ripping on a 2 stroke, there is nothing like hearing that sound. Steering around the track with the rear wheel while on the Pipe!

2008 was the last year of the KX in Europe. From 05 to 08 grafix and seatcover was changed.

Who’s still watching this in 2023? I can fall asleep listening to this is that weird lol? It’s almost calming. The sound of nature with a perfectly tuned two stroke can’t get much better than that.

125's in the right hands can be faster than 250f's bring back the 2 strokes
JUSES CHIRST ....a 125 puts out 37ish ...a 250 puts down low 40hp...but the snappyness of the power band will get you out of the corners alot faster....so your right...they are lighter too....ppl don't realize this....i have both...my 125 walks my 250f

snapiness out of corners faster? a 250f makes way more torque out of a corner than a 125. why you think 4 strokes are so good at supercross. don't get me wrong two strokes cc for cc are better bikes but when comparing a 250f and 125 its no comparison. built 250fs are making close to 50 hp.
4touchdowns1game...any rider will tell you a 125 in the right hand will put anything behind him...i have both...im way faster on the 125...torque doesn't make you fast it just means your kicking up more rocks....power ain't shit unless you deliver it to the ground...my 250f is fast....but the 125...is fast all the time
I had a 2004 for a while. Loved that bike. Wish I knew where it was now so I could buy it back.
I had a 2005 KX250 (brand new). I don't think i'd want to see it now... its probably clapped out.
I had a 2001, she was perfect when I sold her, saw it on Craigslist about a year later completely clapped out. Really saddened me to see it like that.
