So if I am reading the information above correct, if I plug this into my IMac for garageband or logic pro, I can only get two different inputs for recording. I was hoping to find an affordable board that could provide a separate input into garageband for each instrument or mic plugged into the board. I ask because I use the mackie as my mixer and alto truesonics as my speakers at my church, but for some reason one speakers sounds louder than the other, i mean, one sounds fine and the other seems to sound flat and empty. This is a great mixer, especially if you are building a PA system on a budget. The effects are all usable and very nice, and the compressor is an added plus. If 2 monitor sends are enough for you, this could be the best mixer for the money out there.

The Acesonic USA AM-898 is designed to work as a stand-alone device, inputting the mics directly.
