oh and that silhouette of those people on mountain... nice one... I did see a in pug in the grass
Awesome, Carey! I really enjoyed the deer shots!❤
Crushing as always. Wish I could have tagged along for this one. Awesome job bro, keep it up!
Thanks my dude. We'll have to get something together soon
Nice vid. Great flauna shots. Thanks man.
Muchas thanksias Julius
Nice video and lens, considering upgrading to it. How do you find it for hand holding, or is a tripod or monopod really required?
that golden light on the deer was special... I see you got the telephoto bug (along with the normal bugs) - it is a pain in the ass lugging it around, but addictive. I think Tamron get's a bad rap, even in the old days.. they do make good lenses.
Thanks man. The deer were a nice surprise.Yeah it's quite nice. I have an extra bag I can put it in so at least it doesn't take up a ton of room in my bag
I love that lens! Sometimes I feel my a6000 is holding it back, but I don't have anything else so... xD Still great results!!
But that means you get even more reach and still at 24 megapixels. If I crop APSC on my a7iv it'd be like 22 or less I believe. Sony APSC still rules
@@careywest YES it's perfect for bird photography (and the moon), if I ever upgrade, I feel like it will be another APSC camera!
Another banger, nice shots and edits. Did you dodge and burn or just sliders on the deer shots? The lighting/shadows look so crisp.
Thanks my friend! Yes I dodged and burned every photo in this video
@@careywest Thank you, I still gotta learn to do it properly, I can never get it to look as good as your D&B does.
@@IamAW Thank you. If you want a tip, try using a low opacity and flow (10%-15%), making lots of small light brushes and actually a slightly high hardness on your brush (like 40%-50%). It definitely took me a while to figure this out, but a soft brush ends up giving a very "glowy" look which often looks very unnatural. Also be sure to regularly hide the DB layer to see your progress.
@@careywest Thank you so much! This is gonna help me tons. I'm gonna try it next time I get a picture with good lighting.
Cameras and a schecter shirt? Follow!
Hell yeah my friend! Schecter for life.
What's the name of the app you used in the video to locate the moon?
It's called PhotoPills
Dude you like Kill Tony? That’s so cool
Well, I'm a pretty cool guy. As long as you don't get to know me.
I'm a smoker and I'm 55 I don't do hills 🤪
Can't blame you. It's exhausting
