Let’s start with today’s video, as we know that version 4.8 is The last patch of the Fontaine cycle, we are now only one patch away from going to Natlan. In this video, we'll discuss the 4.8 signs and take a look at potential 4-star characters that may appear on upcoming signs.
Starting with 5-Star Banners and Restart: According to information from Fullstopchan, Navia and Nilou will get reboot banners in the first phase, starting on July 17, while Emilie and Yelan will get reboot banners in the second phase, starting on August 7. Considering that all of Fontaine's recent five-star characters were released in Phase 1, it is unusual for Emily to get her character in Phase 2. But then again, they just released two 5-star characters in Phases 1 and 2 of the current patch,
Regarding the 4-star characters on these two banners: Razor is the only character that I think should definitely appear on the first stage banners, and Heizo and Charlotte are expected to appear alongside him. Heizou and Razor haven't appeared on any banners since versions 3.7 and 3.8, so it would be a good time to give them a reboot. However, Kuki could also replace Razor since she hasn't appeared on any banners since version 4.2. About Heizou: It had its last two reruns over the summer, in versions 2.8 and 3.7, so it also has a good chance of showing up on Phase 1 banners.
Yelan's reroll in Phase 2 was a big surprise for all genshin players, as there are a lot of characters who haven't gotten a reroll in Fontaine yet. They last appeared in version 4.0, and characters like Shenhe, Ganyu, and Kokomi still haven't gotten a reboot in Fontaine. But it was bound to happen because the Historical Wish Banner only appeared once in 4.5
Let's not waste time, Emily will make her debut in the second stage of 4.8. As for the four-star characters on the banners of the second stage, Kaveh should be there. It was released in version 3.6 alongside Baizhu, and has not been rebooted since. Twenty signs came and went after his release, and he never appeared on one. Does not make sense. They could have easily put him on the banner of Al-Haytham or the banner of Bizhu, but they did not. That's why I think he'll appear alongside Emily in Phase 2 unless they delay him again for the upcoming 5-star Dendro character in 5.0 in Natlan.
Other than him, Chevreuse is another character who hasn't gotten a reboot since her release in 4.3 alongside Navia. So, if Navya returns to carrying the banners, she should re-run as well. She's the only 4-star character I'm missing, so please HoYoverse, please replay Chevreuse in 4.8. For last place there are two candidates: Sayo and Deona. Either of these two could get a reboot.
