We have a Kubota BX tractor. Very good machines. This would easily be tougher than the other sxs offerings. This is something Honda would have built 40 years ago if sxs were a thing back then. Very robust with lots of metal. Sadly they don’t build them that tough anymore so you would have to get this. We have a couple original Deere gators on our land and even those were built much tougher than the new offerings by Deere.
Not a bash on Kubota, because all these Manufacturers are doing it, but where is that $30,000 in that machine? You can get brand new cars for that price.
Looking forward to your next video. I have a John Deere 835M with HVAC which I love! Would like to see you do a comparison between the Kubota and John Deere.
The price is so hard to stomach for what is actually being offered in this machine. I think these are generally meant to be sold as fleet vehicles for large operations.
My 22 sidekick had a junk Subaru engine that contaminated the crankcase with a massive amount of fuel. Kubota had no way to diagnose or fix it and after others comming forward with the same issue finally replaced mine. I didn't want another so paid extra to get a diesel RTV X. We'll that is the slowest side by side in the world. 8 mph uphill and maxes out at 18mph downhill on blacktop. Sorry I went with Kubota and probably will trade for a Polaris next spring. The name means nothing anymore.
@@tylermacconnell217 mine does 18 max. Was told all the new ones are adjusted like that from the factory by the dealer. They can be adjusted to go faster but low end torque will suffer on the low end. Its gutless on hills as it is.
@@CatNash007 I understand they bought the design and tooling right before Subaru shut the small engine division down and they lost Subaru support at that point. I tried finding someone at Subaru that could help Kubota debug the problems but they were all gone.
Great review, but as others have stated, I can't see how there is any value in this product at $30k. You can get a decent used midsize or full sized truck for $30K, with better everything, and road-legal. What benefit is there to this sxs vs a used pickup? It's big, heavy, not enclosed, no HVAC... Why bother? Cheers gents.
This SxS is better than the road going trucks in a few regards…first of all, it is vastly superior off road. It also has a dump bed, and is much nicer to drive on a hunting trail than in a pickup.

I forgot they made these. The municipality has an electric SxS used around the library now.
Where can I get a Kubota windshield like the one in the video
Great video again!
Could you test the Kubota RTV520?
I would like to know more about the non cvt version. I have always wondered what happens when you stall a cvt.

They are reasonably equipped for under 16K...🤔

Do Kubota make this one them self?
Yes they do.

I think Kubota is doing their own now but I get the frustration.
The Kubota diesel engine will never die, but it is very slow. Only 25hp.

That's a good point.
1000lbs in the bed is pretty stout.
It’s pretty typical for this class. The Gator 835 and Ranger also haul 1000lbs in the bed. The Gator is rated to two 4000lbs in low range
Overpriced😢
