    Wow Thx ! Was i Lucky and Blessed , I found a 65 Samsung looked really good but no back light ,then followed your first check with an LED checker and it had back lights so i reconnected it fired it up and it Works !!! Bad connection and that was the last one i reset so you have a great guide of info here and it is well worth just buying an LED checker and Boom Pay dirt !!! Thx again May be it could happen to you all !!! JuDst do like the Big Guy says and you will be pleased with the results.

    Looks like this is the exact issue with mine. I was so frustrated when I installed the new strips and they still didn't come on. I checked the diodes, and sure enough, .452 vs .220. Hopefully radioshack has this value in stock. Appreciate the competent approach to these videos. You're very good at what you do.

      Values in both directions please

    • @lostmypuzzlepiece
      @lostmypuzzlepiece 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nemesis Now VIII a diode only gives a value in one direction. Kinda the point.

    • @nemesisnowviii4111
      @nemesisnowviii4111 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but a faulty diode can give readings in both.

    • @lostmypuzzlepiece
      @lostmypuzzlepiece 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nemesis Now VIII what’s the purpose of needing readings in both directions? If you have any reading of any kind in both directions, the diode is bad. Replace it. The values are irrelevant at that point.

    Great video, thank you! I have a different TV not turning on, when testing at the line, i'm getting 200V but then it rapidly trickles down until 170V then immediatly goes to 0. It does the same when I unplug it but I get 230V. Is it a LED strip issue or a power board issue?

    My tv 65" samsung (UN65J6200FXZA) has a problem exactly as yours . I did replaced 2 diodes then it was working but only 1 minute and the screen was turning off like before I was checking 2 diodes again so it was completely bad ! I am not for sure what was going on , 2 diodes I ordered from ebay was the same number (SF2AG 2A - 600V ) is that the right one you was fixed on the video ? any suggestions would be appreciate . I just want to order new power supply board but they don't have anymore .
    Thank you very much .

    SAMSUNG UN65RU7100.This TV has a display problem. The TV makes sounds when I press the buttons on the remote control, I see that the led backlight is working. But the picture does not appear on the screen. I already tried to replace the mainboard and power board, but it did not help at all! Sir do you have a business card or a site for us to get some things repaired by shipping off to you? I have tried in my local area in south Georgia to get a smart lithium battery charger fixed, but no one wants to do through checks on the board for the diodes & resistors to get it repaired. It was a transformer that went out in it, but i dont enough knowledge to diy nor risk making further damage to the charging board.

    My GE 32" has an issue. I turns on and shows the Quasar brand name in black & white at start up then there's a quick flash and it goes dead with no picture & a couple of times turning it off and back on again brought the picture back but not anymore. It's not a new set and is probably close to 10 years old & I was using it as a monitor. Could it be a back light bulb or strip of bulbs?

    I have been running into a lot of Samsungs lately that would turn on/off constantly rebooting after few seconds backlight do come on for a few seconds then off. No video but sometimes get sound when starting up. If you disconnect any of the cables between the T-Con and the LCD panel. Tv will stay on with no video. Doesn't matter which cable is disconnected tv will stay on. But when both are plugged in tv shuts down and goes through a rebooting loop. I replaced main board and T-con on a couple tvs and did not make a difference. I checked for any shorted diodes and chip capacitors and did not find any on the panel. Any suggestions. Thanks
