Just now, I got my IQA Result where I got Graduate diploma at level 7 Bachelor’s degree at level 7 Master’s degree at level 9 Evaluation outcome : GRADUATE DIPLOMA AT Level 7 Teaching Assessment: The above qualification does not meet the core knowledge requirements of a New Zealand initial teacher education programme for the following reasons: Secondary Sector: The qualification standard pathway does not sufficiently cover the grade ranges within the New Zealand secondary sector. Primary Sector, The qualification above does not sufficiently cover the grade ranges within the New Zealand primary sector, and the programme curriculum coverage is restricted to the subjects of English and Computer Science, which provides only partial coverage of the primary curriculum in New Zealand. What does it all means, Am I not eligible to teach in New Zealand, if no why and how could I manage this after having so many degrees. What would be the next procedure. Please help me. In my case, I submitted the three po...to be on a safer side...either PRC Rating plus PRC I.D...or PRC Board Certificate plus ID...secure nyo po para iwas stress in the future kapagka ni.request ng teaching council🙂I hope this helps po.

The assessment is done via NZQA website...original docs shoulbe be scanned and uploaded to the portal po....level or label? I think Label....When you scan you can save per page as jpg/jpeg...then arrange it in word doc..for example..TOR..diba more than 1 page yan...so you have to arrange the pages in word then save to pdf...then label it meaning rename it as "Transcript of Records" and not just Document 1...

Yes...NZQA for Teacher Registration allows you to have 3 qualifications assessed all included in one price...so have your Bachelor's evaluated din po..besides you need to submit your undergrad as well to support your MA.

If not on the list,then you need to have your qualifications assessed...it doesn't really have a a major bearing sa result po...the main thing is whether your degree/course taken from the university has undergone accreditation before you graduated.

All you need for NZQA-IQA is diploma, TOR, and course syllabus...the rest such as certificate of employment and IPCR is for Teaching Council once you secured your IQA and your language competency exam..hope this helps!

Yes, u need to attach ur college transcript for Masters...college and masters transcript for Doctorate...remember you can have your other two qualifications assessed for free within 48 hours of submitting your first assessment..meaning u can have ur undergraduate, masters, and doctorate degrees in one go..I hope this helps!

True..but that is quite risky..say for example waiting for the residency approval and then the fixed term has lapsed....residency takes almost 2 years...
My question is in case Nzqa is prejudiced on my qualification what would happen. For my understanding the applicant will have to undergo another a few year training unfairly at their own cost isnt it
If you got a level 6...you can contact the teaching council and find out if you do qualify for registration via discretionary pathway...or yes! Study at your own cost.
If you have Level 7...then why do u need to go through discretionary pathway?It is only a parhway for those who do not meet the standards of the teaching profession.

You can do either ways...but I suggest you do NZQA first, and while waiting for the result, magreview ka ng IELTS....

Yes, do not include it in the assessment as NZQA only assess completed/finished degrees...hopefully this helps!

Yes..sealed and signed...recommendation letter may incude your teaching practice, your values and character etc po.

Teacher Lynn. This visa is valied for just 3 years,after that what would happen to those migrated teachers..
You can either apply for SMC resident visa or renew your work visa....

You are more likely to get Level 6 or Level 7 for your undergrad...the only way to know it is to have your qualifications assessed woth NZQA🙂
