- This Self Balancing, 2-Wheel, Smart Electric Scooter, "Hoverboard" is so full of errors. But I do get some of them fixed.

My PlayHouse is a channel where i will show, what i am working on. I have this house, it is 168 Square Meters / 1808.3ft² and it is full, of half-finished projects.

i had the same problem with my battery it only had 1.8volts after I jumped started it with another battery for a few seconds it brought the voltage above 28 v then it stated charging with the charger. good luck with it and good vid

Hi Morten. I really enjoy your videos....just an FYI on soldering double sided boards....they have plated through holes so ypu don't have to worry about soldering a component on both sides. Hopefully that helps in the future....keep up the excellent videos.....

I believe the pressure sense things at 7:30 are hall effect sensors, detecting changes in relative magnetic density?

Great video. My battery is reading 31v and won't charge. When I try turn the board on I get a signal flash then everything dies. I'm thinking of replacing the battery, what do you think?

My brand new hoverboard run time is around 25 minutes then it cut off power of board. At full charge it was around 41.5 V and after 25 minutes the battery voltage was only 37.8 V for cut off. Why is the voltage still so high and already there was a cut off the power?
At wat voltage should the board switch off? Any suggestions?
Check if the cells is at the same voltages.

Is there a loose yellow wire under that cover at 21:50?. Opto interrupters for weight sensing the quality is higher than I expected.

Hello, my hoverboard flashes 2 times red. Do you know the problem?
NO,, I have no idea..
inside the hoverboard is an "unpopulated " reset switch port ! look out for not soldered connectors ,or not plugged connectors on the pcb
and yes you killed the gyro board when you un and replugged the battery ... im sorry to say that these gyros are super sensitive

Sorry, I never got mine working.
Anyone wondering if those pads have anything to do with pressure, they only block a circuit which lets the gyro boards know there is pressure applied. The rest of the work with balancing and movement is entirely done by the gyroscopr chip.

Hoverboard shows low battery, battery icon red, hoverboard turns on but if i press on the pedal it flashes red low battery icon. Multimeter shows 40.4 volts on battery. opened up the battery pack and 16 Batteries show 4.04 volts and 4 show 4.00 volts, how do i charge single cells in the pack? When trying to charge battery through hoverboard, charger goes from green to red and green to red after every 2/3 minutes. When i bypass the BMS and charge battery it charges and charger light stays red and i took it up to 41.v and connected it to hoverboard but it still shows red battery icon. Could the 4 batteries showing lower volts be the problem?

Well I see you have time on your hand,, to waste.
You have probably more dead Silicon, maybe check some voltage Rails on the board and voltage regulators if u are lucky its only them. If u are interested i can try to help you where to measure.

do you mean how, because if the over voltage is present at the blown Cap also the voltage was present on other parts, also the burned transistor probably caused other damaged. The Transistor is probably part of the regulator circuits, but it should be quite easy to check the present voltages an see what is working and what isn't

You have to have it off to reset it once it flashes and makes a beeping sound that means it is ready to be restabilized

@@MyPlayHouse you're very welcome I am always here to help if I see a problem that I've already came across or seen. Always get other brands of components because the Chinese components are cheaply made and faulty on purpose. Always and do mean always trust the Japanese. The will never put their name business or reputation on the line for some trashy generic items to resemble thee original. I rather pay $10 for 1 item that will last 10 years over a item that is a $1 and will last several months. Just remember this the Japanese Katana will Break Before it bends. Stay Strong & never go cheap or generic. Something needs to be done about the Chinese selling us this shi#. I am sick of it bc you bought way too much stuff for simple issues my friend

Hey hi same problems happen with my board make Libra romai it cannot turns on and shows low battery i check out battery voltage shows 23.5 volts and incoming voltage is 42 volts ....
I'm totally confused what happen like that where is problem please suggest me what to do this is new board can't use but problem exist

Wow those China BMS' are terrible they always overcharge the batteries, they should be no higher than 42v if there is 10 in series. had one in my e-bike and I eventually got rid of it and managed the batteries my own. No wonder they are setting people's houses on fire. Anyways I enjoyed the vid!

Well these batteries can be rather dangerous, the BMS shout make them more save :-/
But it should have stopped the battery from becoming this depleted. That did not work.

Hi, First, sorry for shit english) please dont charge lithium cells over 4.2v 42.6v was 4.26v thats a lil bit dangerous , These cells are 2000mah cells 7.2wh look on the cells , have an nice day

if it was made in china. i wouldnt put it past fault parts. possibly a faulty logic board that caused the capacitors to blow in the first place.
