How Remote Templates Work in Bricks Builder & Best Practices for Web Design Workflow

  • What happens when a template has been styled on the client site and the template is imported/used again?
    In general, once a CSS class exists on a client site, no class styles will be copied from the remote/source template. The exception is inline styles (e.g. written in the code block) and ID styles. These will always be copied from the remote template.
    It’s best to save a template in your local library instead of grabbing the latest one from the external library. To make this more usable, include screenshots so you can visualize the template instead of relying on its name.
    When saving a template, delete old classes and rename so if the source template is added, it will have all the source styles.

      This is extremely useful... As I ran into issues with frames when I had to re install a frame I had styled prior... Now I know what my workflow should be moving forward
