Farewell tours? I've been a massive Chris Rea fan since 1985 and amassed virtually all his cassettes (originally) and now replaced them with CDs. I gave up after going to two of his farewell tours. I knew he'd not been very well but there was no apology either. I still love his musicand especially love La Passione.

Chris y est repassé l'année suivante avec " the return of the hoffner blues note " , je n'ai pas pu résister...Immense artiste, dont je suis fan depuis que j'ai entendu "On the beach" à la radio, j'avais 16 ans...Longue vie à Chris , longue vie au blues.
Pour mes 16 ans, je m'étais acheté un des premiers lecteurs CD avec le CD Dancing With Strangers, puis lors de mon service militaire j'écoutais en boucle The Road to Hell.... Chris Rea fait partie de la bande son de ma life...😊😊😊😊
No doubt Mr. Rea is one of the greatest musicians and singers ever but the entire band deserves credit and recognition for this and other amazing performances.

Amazing ! one of these beautiful songs I have heard almost 30 years ago and I could not forget it as for that time I was a soviet seaman I was living in a country - great prison, our ship sailed to Australia the most beautiful country I have ever seen and listening to this music remembers me my youth my old friends from Australia I had made there and about a beautiful Australia/ Freemantle.
