    My banshees had been sitting on my shelf primed in black for MONTHS until I finally decided to bite the bullet and try this. Genuinely, the armour has come out so nice, dunno why I would’ve thought of doing it any other way!

    Gemstones always have a sort of ring/socket around them, those without are just bumps... at least that's what I usually go on

    How would you paint the helmet of an Howling Banshee Exarch? Wich contrast green could be nice for it?

    Tip on the gem stones. Gold works best on the red version called soulstone i think? Blue shines best through an undercoat of silver

    Nice work, I've watched a few of your videos, we have a similar painting style so I really like how quick and simple your process is.
    How do you paint your bases?
    They look nice, it would be good to see a video on how you have done them.

    When dry-brushing these different layers on the armor, how do you make sure that you go to smaller and smaller surfaces with each layer, and not overbrush your previous one?

    • @MediocreHobbies
      @MediocreHobbies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s more about less and less paint on the brush. An armour panel mite get 6 or 7 passes with a brush with one colour and then 2 or 3 for the next colour up and with less paint. Always start making out less paint then you think you will need. Always easier to add more paint then it is to try take some away.

    So living in an apartment, rattle can will be hard to use for the base zenithal primer. Do you think a heavy drybrush from top down wraithbone over black would work?

    • @MediocreHobbies
      @MediocreHobbies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should I indeed work. It won’t quite be the same. But should do the job. When I was in an apartment I used to go down to the communal bins and spray in there it was great.
