    That is a level of trust in your bike, your tires, and your reflexes that I think most of us will have to work on. Thank you for the outline and reminder to relax and coast - now to practice and implement. Cheers.

    A big thumbs up for your clear and precise instruction. The rolling-coasting-doing nothing is very noticable on my heavy enduro bike (Transalp 600 PD06), its sheer weight pushes through mud like an oil cruiser. This riding technique helps me termendously. I' not too fond of mud, but learning step by step. All the best from a super hot Nürnberg/Germany summer, Günter

    Thanks for these videos! I was out practicing Friday some stuff from your last video on my FC250. Had a blast but went down twice. Leaves all over the trail I actually fishtailed back and forth 3 times as I was going around a curve before going down the first time. So much fun! I know what I did wrong watching this video: I didn't weight the outside peg. Keep these up, I want to get better!

    Another great video. I've had a real problem with being able to relax do nothing in schetchy corners. In washing state in the US gravel on dirt roads is the rule, usually to fill ruts. Never know how deep it is. At 70 even though I've ridden all my life, I tend to stiffen up and bad things happen. Too many times of near crashes going too fast. Then a very tight corner, some times filled with pot holes too. Your place to ride is so nice. Nothing like it here.

    Actually i use the same technique even on the road: set the speed before the corner in the right gear, just a little trailing throttle, DO NOTHING and just back on the gas when leaving the corner. It just feels right, it's smooth and seems to be the best way to get good traction. 👏 Excellent videos, as always. Usually i'm too lazy to give thumbs up, but not with your videos. @kallleankka ปีที่แล้ว

      He’s doing nothing with it, as he mentioned. But what you have to do if on a big 4 stroker is to give minimum throttle just to even out the engine braking. As he also told you hehe. You’ll want be in the center of acceleration and retardation graph. Just maintaining speed.

    • @cooganbeggs4942
      @cooganbeggs4942 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kallleankka Mate, I suspect you’re right about him not using the clutch but at no point does he mention the clutch …not once

    • @kallleankka
      @kallleankka ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cooganbeggs4942might be because the only time you use the clutch is when standing still imo🤪 and when in trail scenarios ofc. Anyway. What’s that you wondering about the clutch? I’m not sure what you mean when/where you think he should have used it? Specialy when you want to be smooth sailing through a turn, using the clutch midcorner will upset the balance of the bike.

    • @cooganbeggs4942
      @cooganbeggs4942 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kallleankka I’m not disagreeing with you. I also pretty much only use the clutch to get started and then prefer to not touch it. I think the original question is legit though, particularly in an instructional video about wet conditions. When someone mentions coasting its good to know if they are pulling in the clutch and coasting or just literally….coasting. When you look at guys like Tomac and Barcia they are basically full throttle pinned the whole time and controlling the traction with the clutch. Other guys barely touch it - it seems to be personal preference
