The first time I ever heard Suzy Quattro play inspired me to learn to play a bass guitar. That was in 1966. I am seventy now and still play a bass guitar, infact I still have the guitar that I learned to play all those years ago.
Rare, a very rae multiple tallen, in the 21st. century. Just a uick thought? Did you ever htink about, to open a Suzi hip style rock music school? just an idea.
Yes I tried to see Suzi in st Ives in Cornwall in 1973/4 bit unfortunately show was cancelled when we got there I was 14. Now at 64 I’m finally seeing her at Leicester in the uk in November. Can’t wait only took me 51 years lol😂
Love Suzie…..way before she was on happy days … I bought her greatest hits album when I was around 15….just to listen too Devil Gate Drive still have some of her CDs….the Queen of Rock ….and the pioneer of female rockers ….
Bless this lady .whom should be high lighted in the uk.more for what she's done for our country .thumbs up.all for her ...let's get this lady her recognition in our uk.
I had such a crush on Suzi when I was a kid.... I'm 61 now and I still remember the feeling I had for her back then. Wow Suzi, you rocked that leather gear lady!
I, Liz, have always loved her music since I was12. I am Canadian. Her song with Norm Was amazing. I played guitar and I still play. Seen her in a few concerts,I respected her and got a signature from her. She is an electric musician. I have been into music since I was 11. I am 64 and still play some of her songs and her friends songs, Smokie. As they remained close. She gave me hope growing.
Saw Suzi live in 75 as backup to Alice Cooper at the Vancouver concert famous for Alice falling off the stage. She put on a great show. Finally got to see Alice again in 2022 and would love to see Suzi again.
@user-sp6jk3zz5b ..well then how about as an influence? Which is what she should be in for. Doesn't matter how many hits. Look at some of the others who are in because of their influence . A few didn't have any hits but still influenced others. She meets all the requirements... Including having released her first recording over twenty five years ago.
I've been a fan since the sisters in Detroit. And followed to England. I'm 66 . But when I listen to Suzi I feel 10 etc again!❤ I'm from Minnesota USA.
Rock and Roll hall of Fame is where she belongs. Not just Michigan. 2024❤🇺🇸👍 We are still listening. My brother Butch turned me on to her again!!!! I am 64. What a legend.Happy Belated birthday. Rock on

Susie Quatrol am A big fan of yours for a very long time since God knows when I am 58years old my name is Sharon from Decatur Illinois 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤ thank you for the awesome memories l will always cherish them for the rest of my life my friend God bless you
Well, I always considered Sister Rosetta Tharpe as "The Godmother of Rock-n-Roll" as she was the first ever, even before Suzi was born. But I love Suzi and her music and performance especially in the seventies when I was in my twenties. To me, Suzi is and always was "The Queen of Rock-n-Roll" with Joan Jett coming in as a strong second... Love from Denmark
Me too, I discovered S. Q. in 1973 (13) and still love her music and concerts. I also like Leiber and Stoller RAK Records production (Smokie), as well as their piano solos.
In 2019 Suzi Quatro was on ROCK THE BOAT 2019 from Sydney to New Caledonia, a fantastic cruise meeting her in person was memorable I'm 5'10" she's about 5'1" she looked so tiny but her singing voice was fantastic
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🇵🇱🇵🇱
What a talent I remember being besotted by her when I was about 5 she was the only one doing that type of rock thing at that time on TV top of the pops she will and is great
My all time favourite by Suzi was "She's In Love With You" in the autumn of 1979, her last big hit, I actually wrote a song in reply to it called "Suzi Q, I'm In Love With You" which later became "Suzicute", for my girlfriend of the time also named Susan, that was in March 1980.
Suzi is a cousin of mine, she is the daughter of my uncle, and we met at a family picnic when we were about 12 years old, She was a magnificent girl. I had her first album but that got stolen by family members during a residence move.
I alwaysfavored you Suzi Q. = Oh Suzi q. - Oh suzi Q. baby . . . . a hidden treasure of a tallent. Even my mother liked you, your songs & style. Yet she didn't like rokc not at all. Since she liked you, inspie, than you must of been good, as I told her?! I hope, once a while, you will hold a concert, for the old time sake? I'll be there! You can count ob me!!
I worked a short time with a Tony Quatro around the Detroit area. I asked if he was related to Suzy Quatro and he said they were cousins. There was a restaurant in Monroe, Michigan and he said that was his other uncle.
What young man did almost break a trouser zipper watching Susie Quatro on Happy Day's . I did back then & still would crawl through broken glass on my hands & knees to be laying next to Susie in the morning. Still looking & sounding good as ever Susie
Suzi sold 80 million albums worldwide, probably not worried about happy days. I had a poster of her on my wall as a teen anger we made love a lot…..well figuratively.
WE - ELL NOW? EVEN THOUGH, I LIKED YOU SUZIE, EARLY 1970S? I some how sensed it, there. there is something etra special of tha, that gal? Yeah, i happened to be Hungarian? Amazing, an amazing multy tallen you wer / & are? thank you for several entertainments. Much appreciated them. OH SUZI . LIKWE THE WAY YOU TALK, I LIKE THE WAY YOU WALK, OH SZI Q.
She never caught on in the US ,which is a tough market for artists to become successful. American tastes are more demanding than the rest of the world. If you find success in America you are truly a superstar. Heart were the female rock stars of the 1970s and '80s as well as Pat Benatar both in the RnR hall of fame
Sure Quatro is & always has been brilliant, I'm 70 & still love her music.
Suzy Quattro reminds me of my late Mother. She loved Suzy. Thanks Mummy for introducing us to this amazing Lady💯🌈🙏
The first time I ever heard Suzy Quattro play inspired me to learn to play a bass guitar. That was in 1966. I am seventy now and still play a bass guitar, infact I still have the guitar that I learned to play all those years ago.

Suzi sat behind me in Mr. Andersons science class, at GPHS. Even as a young teen she had that voice you could never forget and she smelled good too.
Awesome
That was crazy. I decided to just randomly look up Suzi, and here was this new video. Great to see.
I just heard of the Pleasure Seekers this evening and found this. There is some weird synchronicity going on here.
Me too
Same here , ❤

I had such a crush on Suzi when I was a kid.... I'm 61 now and I still remember the feeling I had for her back then. Wow Suzi, you rocked that leather gear lady!

I am 58, a young 58 and this lady is amazing. She is a pioneer of her time and some truly iconic songs.
Талант, преданность делу, обаяние, доброта, отрытость миру, скромность- всё это СЬЮЗИ КВАТРО!
She should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Agreed!
In the US she is considered a one hit wonder with her duet Stumblin In
She was overshadowed by female rock artists like Heart and Pat Benatar
The RRHOF is bullshit. Suzi is too good for it.
Shame about the oft repeated script, cringe worthy.
@user-sp6jk3zz5b ..well then how about as an influence? Which is what she should be in for. Doesn't matter how many hits. Look at some of the others who are in because of their influence . Badfinger not Blackfinger😂😂
Rock and Roll hall of Fame is where she belongs. Not just Michigan. 2024❤🇺🇸👍 We are still listening. My brother Butch turned me on to her again!!!! I am 64. What a legend.Happy Belated birthday. Rock on

She is an exceptional bass player!
I worked a short time with a Tony Quatro around the Detroit area. I asked if he was related to Suzy Quatro and he said they were cousins. There was a restaurant in Monroe, Michigan and he said that was his other uncle.

Why ask
what HAPPENED TO HER ?
What a disservice to Quatro's accomplishments to label her "of Happy Days".
Hey We All Get Old Happens To The Best Of Us.
Happy birthday Suzi, 74 years young😊
She never caught on in the US ,which is a tough market for artists to become successful. American tastes are more demanding than the rest of the world. If you find success in America you are truly a superstar.
Heart were the female rock stars of the 1970s and '80s as well as Pat Benatar both in the RnR hall of fame
she made an impact with her first2 or 3 lp s .,she broke before heart , runaways , benatar . more rock than pat .
Their loss
Suzi is just 12 days older than me. We all age. Some of us better than others.
