Meta isn't real. If a weapon that takes skill like Sword (or Hammer) is known to be the best then the entire community will unite under the common goal of crit grinding an easier, more boring weapon that has been meta for longer until they find way to part break diff it and allow the meta to stay stale
hey new to the channel just wanted to say in so thankful a channel dedicated to dauntless is exactly what I'm looking for,also my question to you is when it comes to farming the drops from a mobs head what's the easiest way of doing so?
Many of the Behemoth heads in the game are sever-able parts, so Weapons that can deal slashing damage (Axe, Sword, Chainblades' non-wounding attacks, Warpike's non-wounding attacks) will deal 50% bonus multiplicative part damage to it.
Axe's throw special and Warpike's missile special are fairly precise and consistent so they're great for focusing on a specific part. Their high burst also allows them to take advantage of the Sharpened cell's massive part damage bonus shortly after successfully dodging an attack, making them the ideal choice for taking out 1 part very fast and easily.
Aether-Striker's bolt special is great for focusing parts for this same reason, but it's less convenient to use and doesn't have the benefit of dealing any slashing damage.
Repeaters have the most precision in the game so they're generally a great choice for farming any part too despite their lack of slashing damage. They can usually get more part breaks during a single behemoth fight than any other weapon but that's not important if you just want Heads
What I would like to know if Dauntless will ever make a Neutral Esculation for example a Neutral Keystone Behemoth could change elements since neutral is a element with no element because it acts like a shell waiting to be for a host
If I had to pick one to add Riftstalker for sure!!! I remember when I first fought that Cat.... Its a fun one!
Nayzaga trial was so wild when it was in the game, even with Terra weapons at the time being hot garbage and it having no interrupt though it was still a relatively fast trial. I think it would be really fun to see it come back. Would also really love to see Thrax and Riftstalker. Radiant Boreus and Torgadoro I think could potentially be quite good additions to trials too.
A Shrowd trial revert would also be awesome, God I can't stand Bloodshot I miss the OG Raven so bad

Why? Using catalist is going to speed up things tremendously... its sooooo easy to get tonics put on swift and sprinter cells and go to hunting grounds twilight sanctuary and go to cave and get mushrooms.... and reload map and keep doing this for like 30 mins you now have the key ingredient to make all the tonics you want... also every week get the steel and gold Mark's eventually the silver and gold Mark's from Trials will be useless and only used to buy tonics. And lastly once slayer path is complete arms are worthless and only uses to buy tonics... so use the tonics is soooooo much better.
If you must have a catalyst free build then change out catalyst for atheric attunement... if you die a lot using it then change ominicell to iceborn.... but when skilled change back to revenant. Malk spear is the best for hunting grounds farming and gauntlets as esca as you get within 120m and teleport to bohemoths... speeds things up. Still just use catalyst.... its awesome
Arceus is a good time, but completing the pokedex to full lv 10 is just painful busywork.
Imma go to perfect dex entries, completing every research task

tbh I would love a Shyvat trial...
I'd also love to see that gauntlet modifery of double hp but 10% of it is lost on stagger in trials.
I think it would be intresting if that was reworked to count part breaks and thrown on a hellion even if it would still be an RNG fest with the lava
