Super Show (Club Mario), The New Adventures of He-Man, The Adventures of Don Coyote and Sancho Panda, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Wake, Rattle & Roll, Tiny Toon Adventures, the DIC version of G.I. Joe, Widget, and Dragon Warrior.
The kids that lost and got a Sega Genesis looked sad. I would've been stoked to get a free Sega Genesis. Especially, since I only had a NES back then.👍

This show was awesome for it's time but also a little late to the game considering it's focused mostly on NES. By the time the first episode aired the Genesis already had been out for a couple years and the SNES was just about to be released. Gameplay shouldve mostly been focused on 16 bit. That's why the show lost steam so quick. They still doing NES stuff in 92 when everyone had already moved on.
I don't think that's quite the reason it ended. Remember, the NES still had a big user base at the time. Perhaps another season could have focused on the 16-bit systems. Guess they figured the show just ran its course. Another reason it got canned: Nick Arcade may have stolen its thunder.
@@GamingDelight I hear what you are saying but I never said that the show ended because it was behind the times but in saying it 100% affected it's popularity with the teenage audience at the time.
@@TotallyRadical The NES wasn't discontinued for three more years, and in 1992, a lot of people still loved the NES, despite a growing fan base with the 16-bit systems. Plus, more games that were pushing hardware limitations were on the way for the NES, such as Kirby's Adventure. Again, Nick Arcade was the main reason Video Power's popularity waned. Not outdated technology.
@@GamingDelight ok but I'm telling you, I lived it and those of us that were teenagers had mostly long moved on to Genesis and Super Nintendo by the early 90s, so it def had an effect on the shows popularity. Not to mention that most of the games they featured were the crappier 3rd party title games that weren't as popular.
