I am retired & my Crown Vic sits in the driveway for weeks at a time without being used. Tomorrow if it is not raining I'm going to do exactly as you suggest and pull that hose out. There are lots of spiders around here and squirrels are always getting into the engine bay & eating dinner on top of the engine & leaving a mess & somehow rodents get inside the car if I leave a package of dog snacks for my neighbors' dogs (they love getting treats)
I have a friend with a Ford Ranger pick up that has the same gas problem , I’m wondering if that vent tube could be the same situation in his truck. Thanks for the info👍
I checked all of this on mine and it still takes 10 min to fill the damn thing with fuel. All the hoses are clear, blew thru everything and no change. No check engine light and car runs fine, just takes forever to get fuel in it.
great vid!!! i have the same problem! thank you! spent hours online and your the only 1 to mention this!!!
Your welcome. Glad it helped you.
Thanks man, your vid was a big help!
Saved me arse today! Thank you
I fixed it with your tube clearing blowout. I already changed that 100 dollar valve unnecessarily! How do I get a tip to you. Fixed in 10 minutes!
Thank you so much for sharing this video...
Thanks I was wondering if it may have been the vent tube this will help

I keep throwing the P0 455 code, it’s not the gas cap, I have a feeling it’s the purge valve. How can I test it to get it to open and close?
Does this also pertain to a 1989 Lincoln town car? I have an issue when you try to open the gas cap. There is an audible pressure release.
i’m having this same issue on a 85 lincoln towncar any advice?

Check that your evap canister is not clogged.
@@JPWilson-mo5kj I blew it out with air so I can only assume that it isn't.
