Reproduced on TH-cam by kind permission of Gaucho Productions, the 8-part TT Legends documentary follows a team of legendary motorcycle racers as they tackle some of the world's toughest races, including the Isle of Man TT.

i do not agree ... All racers in the tt that are in the top 3 are over rated sponsored , so .... put 20 simmular bikes out there and let race ... you think the current record holders / winners would still win ? not at all mate . its all about the money , nothing to do with racing.

This was a great series. I wish there were more. Heart breaking that Simon has passed on. It truly is.
You get the feeling the Gods were trying to tell Simon something from this series. Not a sport that forgives mistakes no matter how fast you are and he was prone to making them.

I have watched this series many times...bearing in mind that they were up against the best endurance teams, I am amazed with the result. CONGRATULATIONS!
This was such great series. Isle of man is the greatest race of them all and any rider who races there is a hero.

Simon RIP shouldn't have been racing bikes, did him so much damage and eventually killed him, he had no place there, sad but true...
He absolutely belonged there! That was his passion, that's what he liked to do. How many people do you know that get the opportunity to die doing what they like best?

All the people who likes it to be at home, together with their families, do have the opportunity to die doing what they like best when they will die at home someday!!! Can't hear this heroic phrases anymore. Phrases which are repeated and repeated all over again, most of the time by absolutely uncritical fans and Wannabees!!! ... Simon Andrews wanted to race motorcycles, yeah. He obviously had a kind of passion for this. Fine. But maybe he was just stubborn and single minded in a way no young man should be who has all the opportunities the world does offer!!?? FACT is that he crashed three times during his career. No problem for a circuit racer, but a BIG problem for a road racer, which he wanted to be!!! How many times did John McGuinness crashed during his long career? I don't know if he EVER had a single crash!? Joey Dunlop just crashed once, when he died. EACH one of Andrews crashes could have been fatal! That he survived two of them was unbelievable pure luck! It is also fact that when he was not crashing he was suffering because of the injuries he had from his crashes (what a stupid idea to burn him out during an Endurance Race Competition with his physical condition). And it is fact that he is dead now. No common phrases can change this facts.

All racers get injured. The best that is. Barry Sheen had terrible injuries. Simon Andrews was one of the best. You know the old saying hats off to the men in the ring. Easy to talk outside it.
