- The season kicks off with the famous Bol d'Or, a twenty-four hour race at the Magny Cours circuit in France.
Reproduced on TH-cam by kind permission of Gaucho Productions, the 8-part TT Legends documentary follows a team of legendary motorcycle racers as they tackle some of the world's toughest races, including the Isle of Man TT.
The documentary was originally shown on ITV4 in the UK and the series is also available on DVD from Duke Media.

20:17 - its so heartbreaking to see Simon Andrews putting his heart and soul into a race like this, knowing what was to come. Im not brushing aside just how legendary McGuinness is and how dayum fast Cam always has been, but ive seen lots of those two and never seen Andrews close up until now. The passion that guy had to put himself thru this and do a real good job is so inspiring.
REST IN PEACE SIMON. I know im too late but im a huge fan. Thoughts and prayers to him, his family & friends.
When Cam crashed, and then pushed the bike back to the pits, and people from other teams were cheering him on, that was nice to see.
Racing at its purest form. Does not compare with anything else out there. Thank you for sharing...

Great race. They certainly earn their money on this one. The guy who started with an injury is super human. The lad that crashed and got back on also. I’m a year younger than John and I started to notice I’m not a young lad anymore in my early forties. The wife, girlfriend and mother must also be going through it. The team is excellent. Hats off to all involved.

Mery Rose i hope more people can see this and remember him this way rather than his horrible crash. Hes missed from the UK to Oz. God bless him. Seeing this, noone can doubt that he really was a warrior.

God... Simon was such a warrior, they all are actually, but him? He really stood out in that race. RIP
So I'm a relatively new fan to Road Racing. I'd say about 6 months now and this is my second time watching this series and I decided to read some comments and realized that Simon has died and am pretty bummed.. It's a shame he died but like he said Adrenaline takes out a lot of the pain and he was doing what he loved. God speed
Jordan Reece hey there Jordan, hope youre good. Just read your comment and i had seen Simon Andrews' fatal crash before i saw this, bless him. Watching this video has made me a fan of his - he put himself thru more than probably anyone else at this race and yet he got thru it. I may be too late to support him but i can and will be inspired by his example - the determination and commitment to achieve your goals.

Simons people let him down. How many horrific accidents does one need to have before someone steps in and says enough is enough. Watching him race makes me cringe. To bad he had to go the way he did but are you telling me no one saw it coming? Then again maybe this is the way he wanted to die.
I don't agree with your last statement but yes, he was such a tough bastard he was never going to give up himself, he needed his team to throw in the towel and forcibly withdraw him.
I wish that was what happened because he seemed like good guy who could have contributed to the sport any some other way.
