when we watch you on TH-cam it's so easy to criticize but what most off y'all don't seem to realize is that this is raw footage of being an owner operator. I salute you Wayne for always being authentic. I have been following you since day one and have seen each and every video you posted. I respect you for posting your trials and errors. I no longer detail because of how challenging it was to keep busy yet you manage to pull through the winters. Keep up the good work Wayne and god bless.

Man, I can’t thank you enough for these videos. Living in rural North East Tennessee, definitely not as much opportunity. I work nights in a factory and detail during the day. It gets so discouraging, but watching your videos keeps my motivation up. I’ve been very hesitant to start offering ceramic coatings again since I no longer have a garage, but seeing you having no issue applying it outside really makes me wanna try it.

  • @InfiniteDetailing101

I don’t get slow days. Even all winter. But I’m solo. No expenses I’m more private disaster or paint correction type stuff. I guess it’s bc I’m in the south so it’s always busy all year. But bro, you need to get into paint corrections. There’s a McDonald’s and then there’s a restaurant right? But again that’s up to you tbh. I do fewer, no crew. But I make 400-1200 a day some days. 1-2 cars max only bro. That’s plenty for me. THEN, I’ll start a crew to run on a side to expand right, while I’m still doing the same big solo jobs. That way, you get to actually enjoy details right? Not be overwhelmed and it be like another job.

I thought at the start of the video you were gonna do 3 vehicles 🚗 in one day and I thought there’s no way especially with ceramic. Takes me 5-6hours for a full detail on average. Don’t do ceramic coatings or polishing but if I did I think I definitely would want to be inside a garage to eliminate contamination in the air. Does seem a bit rush with everything to do everything claying, polishing, coating. I know people can move fast but are you happy with the standards with the amount you charging? Do enjoy your videos it’s very informative and entertaining so have learnt a lot and continuing learning. Lastly on another thing I would suggest is when you talk to the customer it seems little to casual and not as professional as you could be in my opinion like you chatting to a mate. It definitely also makers sense from what I gathered from the customer that since you did the coating already let that ride for a year instead of wasting it to get out the scratches as that could of been said before. A years time to the whole correction. Anyway keep the videos coming, grinding and have a good day

Don’t take this the wrong way but man you gotta learn some more on paint correction and coatings. Telling the customer that the coating is going to protect against those scratches is a huge mistake. There’s no coating that’s going to stop swirls and scratches especially if the client is going through car washes and driving off road through shrubs and branches.

I don’t recall saying protects against deep scratches. But I do believe a ceramic coating is a layer of protection for light swirls. And protects against the elements from daily driving. But its not 100% damage proof I know that. And I’m always humble to take advice I don’t claim to know it all that’s what my channel is about. Me learning and growing and taking people along with me. My guy. You were all over the place with pricing. One , you should get more training before doing polishing and coating. It’s worth it if you’re goona produce good work. I would have chosen a harder pad for one and done slower passes instead of breezing through the car. Different compound too. Tape off trim. That didn’t remove any swirls as you saw. I wouldn’t be surprised if you missed some areas with the applicator pad judging by the fast passes and up and down movements. Sometimes you gotta learn from your mistakes faster instead of taking your time.

He never wanted to pay for any correction so he did a paint enhancement. He’s not really there to treat the swirls and scratches cuz that was out of his budget so he did a regular polish which will make the paint look better and remove “some” scratches but hunter isn’t obligated to do a paint correction cuz the customer didn’t pay for it. Even in the video he explains to him what it was bro look at when he talks to the customer. Customer even said after a year they can come back and correct it fully so he explained it right.
