@@switzerland156 I did go back again🤭. This brain of mine, ugh, I forgot about the store closing Sunday thru Thursday and it was Wednesday the day before they reopened. I went back the next morning ( bored & avoiding cleaning at home😂) and I only found like 10-15 things. I'll post a pic but I will check again if there are anymore remodels in that. area

You are so welcome and blessed that your family came with you😊. Only once did they all (except my son) show up and like you said, what a blast! We had so much fun. Every store won't close after a remodel. Some will actually shut down the Sunday after the remodel. Ex. This store remodeled Sunday 6/30 but it will close onl 7/7 and reopen 7/11.

@@stretchourdollars quick comment you remember those 3 piece wall decor that was square. Well went to a store today this is the 4th or 5th one I found with no barcode. So I took to the front and was telling the cashier that this is a penny item and has been for months. We got to know eachother little bit and she finally said give me the other penny item and you can take it. It helps to be sweet to people, I deal with the public everyday and used to own a retail store. People just need to br nice.

@@leslieguerra869 welcome to my channel 🥰. There's hundreds of items and I've literally stood in stores and taken pictures of every item with bar codes, just in case something surprise pennies. Every remodel is different and toys may penny at one store but not the store down the street. Please don't think this is rude because it's not meant to be. The best thing to do ( I tell everyone) screenshot the items in my haul videos. This way you have your own list. The last time I shared my list with a former friend, they started selling it on FB.

I kept changing my mind this past sun bc it was over an hour away, i have cancer, and no one to go with. My dad works in corporate out of state. We aren't close but he's sent me locations/lists for years now. I finally went to my first, although hours late, but still found some things people missed. They were very mean though. Someone even grabbed hand towels literally right out of my hand as i was scanning the price. She had 3 carts and a ton of helpers. It wasnt a great experience. However, i found 2 others who said it was their first. I asked if theyd like to partner up for future remodels. They said yes and we have texted since then bc i have location info etc. But im worried they aren't serious like i am. If i send the info, i wonder if they'll just use it and never follow through with me. Ive sent a portion of info bc they asked however i javent recieved much comminication other than that. I trust easily but im a little worried bc one lady said her husband sent her in for the asontv spray & had a whole box of sani sticks. All pennies. But lied about not knowing it was a remodel or that they were even pennies. So i wonder if she had a cart or friend somewhere. She knew more than she let on and still says she doesnt know much. But I'll may still try to partner with her and the other lady. It would just be nice to have someone to go with. I'm not greedy and wouldn't take much. It just distracts me from a lot of trauma. @@patriciasnyder556 we didn't have any stores penny last Sunday, 7/21. It's going to be a wait and see situation again this Sunday. We can no longer since DG pulled a surprise on everyone use 50% off frozen food as a definite indicator of exactly when a store will penny, unfortunately. I'm not understanding why you're thinking that it would penny on Saturday. The only way to be certain is to keep watching your particular store in your app and checking to see the prices are not longer 50% off. Frozen food doesn't penny though.

@@abbeylee438 the cost of lots the items being 50% around the store is the #1 giveaway. I have a full tutorial on finding a DG remodel listed in my playlist under, dollar general remodel tutorials. This way you can make notes for yourself and rewind it you don't quite understand. You can always ask me questions if you still need additional help.
I pray that it wasn't too much work for you to do that. I was just hoping that everyone can learn at their own pace and ask questions on what they didn't understand later after extracting and information that was pertinent to them. Was the the Wednesday after the penny Sunday or the Wednesday after the remodel Sunday? Im new and just shopped my first remodel last Sunday. Which i think means today is the remodel... So I go back this coming Wednesday or am I late now?
@@KatNicoleMc92 you're never late. I'm referring to the Wednesday after the Sunday that the store actually pennied and but the Sunday that they renovate the interior. I only went back on Wednesday because the store was over an hour away from me. The remodel that was closer to my home, I went back to the same night and twice since then. Did I answer your question?
Hello, I went to a remodel this past Sunday and I checked the app the next day to see if the frozen had gone penny since they didn't penny that sunday but realized that everything that was a penny or half price is now regular price. Is this normal?
@@cynthiagarrett5952 frozen food does not penny at remodels. I've heard that from several people and DG is getting super fast at resetting the prices. My last remode l ( with all of the toys) all of the frozen is showing full price, however, the penny items are still showing 0.00 a penny. I've gone back to that same store that remodeled on 6/30 three times and found pennies. I just checked for you and folks in Alabama went back to their remodel store ( pennied 7/14) and their stuff is still a penny. I don't have a clue why you're seeing your penny items reset so fast, sorry but I'm ask around about that for ya 🧐

Question i know my store will be remodeling really soon and there is 50% tags everywhere but the weird thing is that in the app it scans full price
They will honor the 50 off tag.
