The day TO stunned me by basically playing with one leg.
Guy put his entire career on the line to play this game. Mad respect-for Terrell. If he would have caught a TD pass the eagles would have won n he would have been MVP.

The NFL was dominated by four powerful teams that season. The defending SB Champion Patriots, the 15-1 Steelers, the Colts with MVP Peyton and the best team in the NFC the Eagles now with TO. The Patriots had to defeat all three of them en route to this SB victory. The toughest competition in postseason history in my view.

    Awesome video.
I have to say this is how a highlight video of a game is done! It doesn’t bother me if it’s a little longer, this is what you want to see in my opinion.
You showed almost all of the downs for each drive but still kept the video moving fast with cutting to the next plays quickly.
You also showed the refs call on the field after a flag is thrown! So many times I see a highlight video and the flag is thrown but then they don’t show the outcome of the flag and what happened.
I felt like I watched the entire game in only 30 min! Very well done. The only thing I wish you did was show more of the celebration after the game! Lol
    Great video!

2004 Patriots are an all time great team, perfect balance of staunch defense, deep passing, and physical running. The addition of Corey Dillon, Brady’s own improving deep ball, and the still-ferocious defense. The 2007 team was similar but the run game wasn’t as good and the defense was older; this 04 team itself easily could have gone 16-0, they lost in Pittsburgh week 8 without Dillon or Deion Branch, had they won that game I doubt they lose to Miami on MNF if they come in 13-0.

@@finchborat Yeah, you are correct about 2011 I mispoke. Talib was the moment as a fan that I felt like the Patriots were "back". The front 7 could always be coached up, but the secondary couldn't play man at that time pre-Talib and they just couldn't stop anybody no matter how much smoke and mirrors Belichick schemed up. That core of drafted guys around that time like Jamie Collins, Hightower, Chandler Jones, and Devin McCourtey gave the Patriots their defensive identity back that they had lost. Wilfork and Ninco were there through all that bullshit and then you add Revis and Browner with Logan Ryan and Malcolm Butler as their backups and McCourtey able to move to Safety and the Duckboats were back. Shoutout to Jonathan Jones and obviously Gilmore who both came around later too.. Pat Chung is good apparently but every time i'd see him cover a tight end he would get beat lol he always seemed overrated to me but i'm ranting now. The secondary deserves all the credit in the world for those championships

@@waynetables6414 100% agree, especially Butler in Super Bowl 49. He delivered the perfect belated college graduation gift for me.
It's crazy we couldn't stop anything in 2010 and 2011. However, we made up for it with turnovers and tightening up in the red zone. Coming out of the 2012 draft, I felt the defense was fixed and Talib's arrival and Alfonzo Dennard stepping up gave the defense a massive boost.

    1. TO had an incredible performance

    3. McNabb was efficient all season, including the postseason besides this game.

Donovan McNabb are reasons 1 & 2 as to why we didn’t win this game. The score at half time should have been 10-7 or 14-7 if Mcnabb doesn’t throw that pick. Then wasting so much time at the end of the game because he’s hungover and throwing up. What a waste.

Winning back to back is better than winning any other sb. The greatness of this patriots team only grows as no one else has won back to back since and honestly i don't see it happening again for a long time.

Really wanna see Saints/Colts Super Bowl highlights in this , that was a good one tho , only time Brees and Manning played each other in the SB

First time Reid and Belichick went at it tho , and years later Reid coaching KC and going up against belichick in the 2018 AFC championship game
